NICE! Without looking at other commenters, PTZ2 did not rate in any of the six, using my bad eyes. PTZ3 was either tied with PTZ1 in three categories, or was stand-alone. Therefore, SMTAV is best, then FOMAKO and then Avideone. [The Low Light test barely had a winner.]

Hello! I have a brand new AVIPAS AV-1081W and when I try to connect to my PTZ controller (LEFTEK S3) over the Ethernet cable and I am unsuccessful because when I enter 192.168.5.163 on Google chrome it lets me login, but gives me an error message saying UPDATE. I have nothing to UPDATE because when I click on UPDATE button it does not work at all and I have searched on Google for help and I cannot find anything. Please advise me on what to do

#3 had trouble with distance focus. Was there something external effecting that? If not I would stay away from it.

Yeah it did. I had to rerecord this because of focus issues but I'm sure configuration would fix this

A mic needs to be connected. There is no but in mic. I'm not sure on performance of the sound. Never tested it

good video.. how would the FOMAKO or any ptz camera stack up agains a camera like Panasonic x1500? would you go for ptz for church setup?

If running in a full 4K environment, the Panasonic would blow these away but again the average viewer won't notice it unless they also have the gear to see the 4k quality

What I would like is a comparison zoom chart in a building like a church. I asked FoMaKo for this but I don't think they knew what I was talking about. So, full wide angle, zoom in to a full body shot then close up. Have you got anything like that? zoom 20 vs zoom 30 etc.

@@AJaytheCEO I'm just curious how efficient a 30x optical zoom will be. I'd like to keep the camera at the back of the church for aesthetic reasons. That will put it about 45ft from the pulpit. We can put it further forward on a wall if necessary, but I'm trying to avoid that.

I ended up going for one of the new 30x SMTAV cameras (BX series) that has the AI Tracking feature.

@@AJaytheCEO It's yet to arrive, but I purchased it from SMTAV's own site, as they were having a sale, and that ptz (along with others) weren't available on Amazon. But from what I've seen from the SMTAV PTZ's I doubt I'll be disappointed. I mainly use 3 Lumix G85's in my setup, but since its just me, it's nice to have a camera that I can control while I'm switching. I will usually have one camera next to the switching position that I can move and adjust/zoom, but the rest of them are static. I'm thinking of using the PTZ for 2 purposes; 1st is as an "Audience Cam" which I can set up somewhere next to the stage (out of the way) to get close ups whenever there is a "Question and Answer period", and 2nd is to use as a tracking camera at the back for when there is a presenter that likes to walk about stage.

@cholochedd6752 I would send sound to a computer or switcher and not connect a mic to the ptz. Personally I wouldn't but others have and it worked fine for them

In my opinion all through the video I thought PTZ 1 looked the best. I thought 3 looked the worst to me.
