I have had a Tangle Teezer brush for fine, fragile hair for about a week. Love it. It doesn't pull out as much hair as other brushes do. My hair tangles easily. My hair has thinned out so much & I don't want anything that pulls it out ! This brush detangles so quickly, very few hairs are in brush after I use it & oh my gosh, it feels SO good on my scalp ! I've ordered 2 more...a compact one that go in my bag....& one that's for most hair types. Love the colors.

May I ask which brush you got? I also have fine, fragile hair
@patwagner93083 жыл бұрын
@@gwynette896 When you look at the Tangle Teezer brushes, they'll say which type of hair they're made for....one says it's for fine, fragile hair. I still use it & like it a lot. I'll check my Amazon orders & see if there's any more info I can provide to help you. OK...the mint-violet color one is for fine & fragile hair.

@@patwagner9308 thank you! may i ask if the bristles bend or snap when you put it in your bag? I'm thinking of getting the original one (I buy it from shopee as we don't have amazon here and it's more expensive to buy from the official tangle teezer website due to shipping) over the compact styler because it seems like the compact styler would be small (although i like its cap). Sadly only the original and compact styler are my only choices as it's the only ones available
@patwagner93083 жыл бұрын
@@gwynette896 Hi again! Well, I don't carry the brush w/me. But I have a compactTangle Teezer that comes w/a cover...so if I want to put one in my bag, I'd take that one. I'm inclined to think any of the Tangle Teezers will be fine. I have 3 & all are good for my fine, fragile hair. If you plan to carry one of the originals in your bag, it might be a good idea to put it in a small bag & then put that in your bag. The smaller bag would protect the Tangle Teezer. Fun chatting w/you, Gwynette!

I got the compact tangle teezer thinking it would be great for traveling , however I absolutely hated the way it felt on my hair . It was pulling it and was very rough to my scalp . The bristles were very harsh so I switched to regular (bean shaped one) and noticed major difference straight away ! It detangled without any hustle or pain to my hair and felt so much softer. I m so so glad I swapped my initial choice ... didn’t think there was such a huge difference in bristles but there really is and for me the compact one is just a huge No !

How different between the original and the Elite? The one you mentioned on 10:48 it was not the Original but Salon Elite.
@KristyJoan5 жыл бұрын
Heya, the Original + Salon Elite have slightly different moulds on the back where it fits in your palm- besides this, they have the same bristles and are the same size, which is why I mostly lump them together in the same category :)

@KristyJoan3 жыл бұрын
Hey! There needs to be a lot more care with curl types between 3A-4C. I personally have never found tangle teezers damaging, and my hair is very bleached processed. However I do not have kinky texture so I would highly suggest asking someone with the same hair texture as you for their experiences!

I’m a bloke and I’m looking for something to clean/shampoo and help stimulate follicles of both my head and beard, mainly in the shower. It’s hard to get a good clean under a beard. I only have combs and I’m always using my partners oval shaped flex metal tooth brush. Is the original best for me?
@KristyJoan3 жыл бұрын
The original would work perfect- they also make a red original that has slightly longer bristles. I think it's called "Thick and Curly", having longer bristles would work best for beards to reach the skin and stimulate the follicles. Hope that helps!

I've heard some rumors that the tangle teezer gives you hair breakage and split ends if you use them for a while. Are these rumors true?
@KristyJoan6 жыл бұрын
Heya! Nope! Never heard that one before. There would be no scientific reason why the Tangle Teezer would cause hair breakage over any other brush, and even then, you would have to be ripping at your hair with a brush for hair to break!
@emmahamilton64136 жыл бұрын
Kristy Gallirhir okay! Thanks!
@anouschkabernice40505 жыл бұрын
It's true. The ends of the teeth of the tangle teezer are a bit jagged, they aren't seamless, so that could cause breakage and split ends if you use the brush for a while. I have one and I limit my use to once every 2 weeks because of this.
@banena905 жыл бұрын
@@anouschkabernice4050 They are seamless and do not cause any damage. :-)
