It’s so sad that the fosters is ending. This show was amazing and it has really great lgbt representation. It dealt with coming out, rape, abuse and many other important things and this was honestly one of the best shows and the fact that an interracial lesbian couple was the main couple was beautiful.

It took fans campaigning to get #TheFosters on Ellen, when it should have been the job of Freeform to get them there seasons ago? Esp. being on the same lot as Ellen. Anyways better late than never. Will miss this show. Could only imagine more people the show would have reached if they were featured on Ellen sooner.

I know what you mean and I also think they are aware of its implication because of what they also learn from playing the role in The Fosters. It's sad to see The Fosters go. Sure, it could get a bit sappy at times, but the issues that the show tackled, I'm sure, helped so many people deal with stuff in their own lives. YES I am going to miss the family but will continue watching the two ladies in their new venture. It is not going to be the same. Love seeing this family playing musical chairs and laughed so hard watching these individuals crawling all over the floor. This reminded me when they went camping and ended up in the creek swimming.
