Thanks for this, I have always wondered why I can see or feel things that I do. I have experiences like 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7. With 4, I can even smell and taste things. I can’t get visions. I feel I have met a twin flame but he’s younger and married, but we do have a connection like no other in my life. We even know what each other are thinking or I will do something that he thinks about the same day but we are miles apart. I even had a dream about something that happened the very next day. I can say this , when I walk in a room, I can feel who is in there. I feel when something in my stomach is not right. Did not let the kid on the ride and it wound up being stuck for 2 hours. Another mother grabbed me and said "how did u know that?'... I also know when someone says they are "FINE", and I am like, "NO WAY", and I rattle what their face and vibe is saying. I feel what is happening even when it comes to how someone feels about me. They cannot lie , even if they do not, and that is okay .. :) I sobbed from waking up from a dream when my uncle eggie visited me and I told him to go bc he died from an aneurysm at age 45. Woke up in hysterics at 4 am and my husband holding me.When you said smell, I smell my Uncle Eggie as well. He leaves a smell (a nice one-trees eyeballs ) and my aunt comes around as a smoky cloud.

I am right there with you, except for the dreams. I have also felt ghosts, I was staying in an Airbnb and the 2 bedrooms were "haunted"...so to speak. The room just standing outside felt cold and uncomfortable like someone was watching me, except I was the only person there. The second bedroom was warm and inviting and I chose to sleep there. The next morning I woke up and rolled on my stomach and felt something bounce in bed. To me it felt like a child jumping on the bed to wake up mommy and daddy BUT again I was alone. I don't see spirits, I don't " speak" to them but I feel their energy.

Well, I am definitely an emotional empath. I have been aware of it most of my life. However, I have fought it, claiming it was some issue I had (like fear, or weird imagination) and listened too much to those around me citing I'm too emotional or too deep and dismiss me. So I couldn't talk about it, or express it. I am very aware of anyone lying at any degree, and I can feel emotions of others so much that it will drive me crazy. I need to discover how to read these things without absorbing them and owning other's emotions. It is heavy and depressing. I will learn!

Heyoka... My grandmother was half Indian. My great grandfather was full Indian. (My mothers side) She could taste and smell different things.... The moment you said that, my ears rang. I love the description that you may experience all of these at different times, I feel this is the case for me. I won’t get into all the specifics, but one that I want to highlight is the dream empath. So I’ve only known one other person that has experienced this (and she’s an amazing KZbin intuitive reader!), so hoping putting this out there might connect with others. About 5 years ago, I started experiencing what I call “stealing other’s dreams.” I’ll occasionally have a dream that is in the first-person of someone else, meaning I’m in their body, looking through their eyes, and more intensely, feeling their emotions. At first I was confused about this experience… was this a past life? Parallel lives? Is it random brainwaves? Until I finally had a dream being in the body of a person I personally knew. When I woke up, it was quite 🤯. It was someone I was at odds with, and I finally fully experienced what their inner pain was like. So I suppose what I am trying to describe is like a dream empath, but on steroids. They are intense. Sometimes difficult. And sometimes…. I get a really good one… and steal someone’s favorite moment in time (and feeling a wee bit guilty 🥳 - get your mind out of the gutter 😂, like backstage at a concert or swimming in the ocean for the first time. 🤩🥰).

I am an October 31st Scorpio. I have always had the sense of when my dad was going to call or my daughter was in the hospital or my son was in trouble and ill. It’s a feeling I get in my throat and I know the conversation before it starts. My grandmother knew that I had it and she did too. That’s why I cried all day the last time I saw her but no one else in my family could understand why I was crying and I couldn’t tell them. I knew when my mom was going to die and I would not be there with her. I have smell and taste awareness others don’t have around me. Some days are hard to bare ; knowing a death is imminent is disturbing. I have never gotten used to this sensitivity.

Im glad its not only me being wierd. I am always sent for "last visit" before someone dies. 2yrs ago to see my brother. It wasnt until i left they said id never see him again. He has since developed end stage dementia very quickly so i will never see the person i knew. That part was new to me! Thank you for this information. My great grandmother on my biological father side is from the Blackfoot Cherokee tribe. Her father was a healer. I remember seeing black and white pictures that she use to show me of her father siding in a chair smoking a long pipe. He had long black hair and was wearing something colored in red and black. Throughout my entire 54 years of life this Indian man has always been around me. Being an only child my mother use to tell me that I talked a lot to myself but she didn't know I was talking to him. I am a Taurus Sun - Aries Moon and Venus- Cappie Rising and all of the Empaths you just went over hit for me. I hear - see - smell and taste things as well as feel and hear the grass growing and the sound the leaves make on the trees. They all have a different sound to me. Yes I can hear the grass grow! As a child I hated wearing shoes and would take them off when I went outside to play and run in the grass. I use to spent hours laying in the grass just listening to it and I would tell my mother I can hear the grass grow and she would say that's nice honey and look at me funny. I LOVE animals to the point that since I can remember I wanted to be an veterinarian and as a child HORSES were my obsession. At 15 I worked for free at a vet's office just because. Later I became a vet tech and worked with an exotic vet in South Florida. I feel and see others emotions and can read their body language. I can tell if you are telling the truth or not. My kids hate this! LOL It's difficult sometimes for me to go to a large group gathering due to all the loud emotions around me. Due to my South Node in Libra (people pleaser if you are okay I am okay) I am a fixer of others but working hard to be that Fire Aries North Node! If you are sad I am the one to pick you up and make you smile. If you were unloved in your life I will be the one to love you with everything I have. I live in NW Florida and was here when Hurricane Michael hit in 2018. The CAT5 took down 5 million tons of trees in Bay County leaving every plant and tree broken or gone. I cried and still do in certain places when I feel and see the pain in the trees. But I will say that in some area's you can see new life and I LOVE THIS!!! Love that you mentioned to not be offended by the “spiritual fool”. A Native American man that I met and knew through mutual friends called me Heyoka and even sent the word to me, in a text. I was very slightly embarrassed at first, when I learned it meant spiritual fool 💜. But, I understand it, now. I was just not consciously aware of other types of spirituality, back then. It is an honorary and beautiful title that they give to someone who is ‘taller than their shadow”. They are often twin flames or have heavy spiritual soul mates in their lifetimes. There can be other unusual connections and dreams to wolves and foxes and it may show in your connection to dogs, cats and even bears. Every culture and even society has their own unique and cultural expression of the Heyoka. It’s a truly wonderful honor 💜.

Randomly Heyoka kept popping up on my KZbin. I never researched it, never looked into it. I didn't even know what it was. Last summer I was traveling. As soon as I hit the border of Oklahoma, we stopped at a gas station. I started having a panic attack and I couldn't swallow and got really emotional. I had to eat ice all the way through Oklahoma. When we would pass the Indian nation communities my anxiety was overwhelming. As soon as we entered Texas it calmed down. We got to my cousin's house. I was laying in bed and turned my KZbin on and there it was again. I finally watched videos on Heyoka. Ever since I've acknowledged this, I kept getting videos in my feed about missing or murdered indigenous women and children. Definitely a dream empath. Not only can I feel peoples emotions, I can also feel their physical issues. It hits me randomly and it can be from someone I know who lives thousands of miles away, like across country. I feel it right before it happens to them, then I have to message or post to find out who it is before it stops. Sometimes it’s people I can’t contact do it lingers with me for days before I am able to release it. I can also smell sickness around people and know what sickness it is based on the smell. I also am claircognizant, have premonition dreams, can physically feel energies from objects and crystals, and can randomly connect to peoples guides, as a medium, in order to help them with awakening. As far as animals and plants, I can hear them inside my head. Especially birds. Hi MJ, I have many of these I’m very intuitive, I feel what others are feel a lot of the time, Believe I am Clairaudience, clairvoyance, clairsentience, claircognizance, i’ve had things happen to me since I was six years old remember hearing someone telling me run Kimberly didn’t know why but I knew I was in danger. I used to have dreams that came true when I was a teenager but then I think my clairs clicked in I don’t know. I got very sick when I was 14 and almost died everything changed after the the dreams started. Visions the knowing. I’ve even met a higher being if that’s what you call them. His body will let him know before he goes to bed if he is going to sleep or be on what he calls a journey. Thank you MJ I learn so much on your channel I never miss it. I have a friend who lives 1500 miles away. She always knows when I'm going to call and I know when she's calling. I seem to have a mix. One that stands out, but I do not experience often is seeing or knowing that something is going to happen. Sometimes I just know that something's wrong but I don't know what it is. Sometimes I know what's going to happen but I don't know when. On rare occasions I see it in very specific dreams or in my mind's eye. It usually involves people I'm close to. I wish I knew more about it.

I am an Empath of all kinds. I had episodes last year with shadow spirits. That is the one thing that chilled me a bit. The spirit would wisk by out of the corner of my eye and almost brush me too. EX: I called a friend who is a musician on April Fools Day to say I wasn't able to go to the gig because I didn't have info. I was joking . He was amazed since he did have a gig that night and doesn't have them often. Another ex: when I remember my dream it is a message- some one got married: another was pregnant. I experience several of these, to varying degrees. Emotional, sentient, audient, smell. One not mentioned is physical empath. I experience sudden onset of symptoms and I have come to realize that when it’s sudden like that, they’re usually not my own. It’s been hard to discern the difference, but I do deal with chronic health issues. I can’t help but think that picking up other people’s health issues has contributed to my overall health. I have to make sure I ground myself frequently and get out in nature enough. I also visualize myself cleared and protected. I call in the angels and guides as well. I like how Dr. Judith Orloff describes the different types of empaths and how to protect yourself in the Empath’s Survival Guide. I also like the Psychic Twins book. Denise Linn has some good books too. Especially how to understand how energy affects us in Energy Strands.

I'm alot of what you talked about but the one you didn't talk about feeling other people's pain I always know when someone is in pain or hurt themselves I will feel what they are feeling just a small example around my family if I'm all of the sudden hurting somewhere on my body that I know is not mine I walk in the house and ask everyone who hurt themselves today in whatever part is hurting and the person it's from let's me know then the pain goes away my family is use to this lol but I have a hard time walking into hospital because it can get overwhelming for me in less I do some serious shielding before I go thanks for sharing this video it's the first time I've seen one explaining empaths that make sense blessings to your day...

So far, Emotional empath and the smelling one has been what I’ve experienced. Random smells, especially when I lived further away from town, I would smell cigarette smoke so strongly with no one around as if someone is blowing it in my face…which can be really off putting for a lot of people lol but for me, i knew it was my gram visiting me and I felt such a calm when i smell it. I know that when I buy my first house, if I want to explore that side of myself more, I’ll have to live further away from town because I feel so overwhelmed by living around so much human energy. I could relate to at least 3 of these types...the emotional- I feel so much off of others around me, especially if negative. the fawna- when I came into my teens and living in the country, I'd take walks along this trail with lots of trees, it was where I felt the most free from my life. I was devastated to come home from school in my senior year to find the nearly mile long stretch had been cleared of trees, I cried for so many reasons. Clairvoyant, recently lost my work badge and a week later, while in the shower, had a vision of where to check the next morning and it was there. I just wish I could remember more of my childhood before the age of 11.

I have quite a few of these gifts and they have all aided me in my journey to myself and the truth of life. The most difficult one for me to handle because I never learned how to handle it, is the psychometrics. Since it had to do with seeing criminals and crimes and dead people ( not always bad stuff)it was kinda scarey for me. So, of course I avoid the news and newspapers and such. I need to do a past life regression session. I relate to several empathic abilities. Honestly, I have always had empathic abilities for as long as I can remember. Also, both my mother and father have very strong abilities and my grandmother used to be respected for and was paid for her gifts when she was alive. In the last 3 years (just before my mother died) I believe that i began showing strong signs of being an heyoka empath. I am in a twin flame situation where we mirror like crazy. Hes even given me warnings of what is going to happen with us (& they all came true).He even told me he knows exactly what this is and he know what he needs to heal and f... karma. He tried to use logic to hold on to the connection. He thought since we are fated to be together he had nothing to worry about. Now we are in separation because he has to heal ot we would never work. My family is from Alabama and we have double indian on both sides of the family and my grandmother who was paid for her gifts mother was half Cherokee and her father was full Cherokee Indian. Most of my cousins have empathic abilities but I am the one that seams to fully understand what is going on with them and it seems all of pur gifts presented themselves to the outside would at the sametime. So weird.

MaryJo, I absolutely LOVED this segment! I have a few of the "types" of empathic attributes that you described and I am constantly being told I'm "too sensitive" "too, too, too". I believe my gift(s) were passed down thru both grandmothers, and I too have passed this along to my children. Although, unfortunately, the have caved to "medical & Peer pressures" and have come to disavow their different abilities vs. embracing their gifts. It makes me so very sad. I myself, have always, and will continue to embrace these special abilities as Divine Gifts, although I am sad to say that medical practitioners are only to happy to "label" those of us as "mental -----"(fill in the blanks. Empaths face an uphill battle defending their gifts as far as the medical professions are concerned. Well, that's MY OPINION. Maybe in other areas, both laypeople & providers hold us in higher esteem. I knew things i had never been told by them only the dead relative told me about their death. The info helped them with death. Made them feel better. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I was label at very young age as sensitive. As far back as I can remember I could read energy of a room, deeper if small setting. I pick up on the darker side of emotions, see through to the core of the pain. I get visions in dreams, I only realized once they happened. Pregnant I would astral travel, solve crimes. I recognize several of these types in me. Since I was a teenager I could read the energy of a space; I didn't understand it when I was young, but some of the negative energy I walked into in the homes of friends was so striking, I still remember the feeling and I'm now 64 years old. I'm curious about this: I've had NUMEROUS situations where, once something significant has taken place, I can look back and see how the location or a conversation or some other "thing" stuck with me at the time as important, but I didn't know why or how until that future date when the situation manifested itself. For example, I KNEW my future daughter in law was special & significant when I met her, but at least 2 more years passed before she and my son even met or had a date. I KNEW that 2 different (high-power) jobs were significant to me, but only years later did I, surprisingly, find myself in those exact jobs.Etcetera. Is this a case of me just not recognizing the premonitions at the time but recalling them later? Thank you so much for all you do to help us.

I really appreciate you taking the time to educate me on this topic, I often smell strawberries,gardenia which became my favorite there is no one That I know who likes these or has grown them, I see shadows of people and animals, sometimes I dream and they come true,I stay way from mirrors do to if I'm staring to long from doing my hair or putting makeup on I see someone else's face sometimes it scares me so I tend not to look in mirrors more than 4-6 minutes.
