Number 3: not fairplay: With this ball, Vietnam threw it out to call for medical attention...then, Thailand kicked it again even though everyone thought it would be returned to the goalkeeper to show fairplay. Everyone froze and said "stop, stop" but he still kicked that ball and celebrated. The argument that followed was proof, in addition to Supachok's embarrassed face. After the tournament, Thailand's coach also refused to answer about that ball, which is understandable. It's a shame to lose to the point of being humiliated.

For those who may not understand, In the situation where Thailand’s number 7 player, Supachok, scored in the 64th minute of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final against Vietnam, the referee was forced to recognize the goal as it was entirely legitimate. However, the issue lies in its violation of the spirit of fair play, an unwritten rule that, if broken, is met with widespread disdain. This is because, earlier, a Vietnamese player, Hoang Duc, was injured and lying on the field, prompting the Vietnamese team to deliberately kick the ball out of play so the medical staff could attend to him. Normally, the ball would be returned to Vietnam, but instead, the Thai team launched an attack while the Vietnamese defenders were unprepared. Anyone watching this match would have seen the referee spend a significant amount of time explaining the situation to Thailand’s captain (number 8) and their coaching staff, asking them to have their players remain still when Vietnam resumed play, allowing Vietnam to score as a way to return the goal. However, after more than 10 minutes of persuasion, the Thai team ultimately refused the referee’s request. Adding to the controversy, after the match, Thailand’s head coach praised the goal as “beautiful.” Such a statement is disgraceful-not only for him but also for Japan, a nation that has always valued the spirit of fair play. What a shame for Thailand!

@Greengrass2932kКүн бұрын
It’s no surprise that Thailand dominated possession, played very sharply, showed good control in the penalty area, and excelled at long shots. You could have defeated Vietnam without that unfair and shameful goal. That incident made the Vietnamese players stronger and more determined. It was an intense, fierce match marked by Supachok’s disgraceful actions. There was also an incident where Van Thanh’s foot was stepped on, causing his shoe to fall off, and a Thai player immediately picked it up and threw it away-this happened around the 48th minute. Early in the match, Tuan Hai had a rough tackle, which could have been a red card, but the yellow card decision was reasonable. Remember, the AFF has VAR, so don’t base conclusions on a few slow-motion replays from the media to accuse players of fouls. In summary, Thailand deserved to lose and face humiliation, while Vietnam won bravely and deservedly.

Vietnam’s Hai Long goal is the most beautiful and exciting goal for the Vietnamese ❤️👍
Does anyone see the last goal is beautiful? For me, the last goal is rolling beautifully to let millions of Vietnamese happy and to tell that fair-play team will win the game!

Yesterday before the match, I watched a football short that a player shot from the same spot as Hai Long did, in the same situation where opponent's keeper engaged in corner kick, the same ending of a game in some random western league. The only different was the player shot is more powerful than Hai Long but they were accurately. I think it was a prophecy lol

A strong, stoic finish and the other one is a dramatic, cinematic finish. Hard to choose which one is better don't you think? 😉 Also I am gonna search for long range football shots for now lol 😂😂

3. Sự kiên cường tới giây phút cuối cùng của đội tuyển Việt Nam 4. Chính nghĩa lên ngôi

The most beautiful dirty goal ever

No one said about the ref who was one to blame, instead Vietnamese blamed Supachok instead eventhough he would not score that goal if the ref stopped the play and "drop ball" to Vietnam but ref decided not giving a foul for Vietnam and Vietnam GK threw the ball out by himself and Supachok didnt give the ball back to Vietnam which is understandable because Vietnam GK kicked the ball out by himself.

Thailand is the number 1 football country in Southeast Asia. But Supachock's goal destroyed the beautiful image of Thai football and the gentle and wonderful people of Thailand. I don't think a professional player has a goal like that. After all, humanity and sportsmanship are what every country strives for

Imagine not ending the match at 15' to let thai win but instead give VietNam the last goal, and such a slow burn too, the two Thai guys chasing that ball gonna have nightmare that night 😂😂

VietNam still gonna win without that bonus time anyway

Thailand's second goal is my favourite. It show fairplay spirit in football. They deserved the fairplay prize.

The goal scored by Supachok was so impressive that it could be considered for the Puskás Award, but they can't cuz it was a disgusting goal.

Supachoke's one is the most beautiful, fairest goal I have ever seen. Even the Puskas Award does not deserve it, the FIFA Fair Play Award is not enough to describe how extraordinary it is for Thai team
