A few years ago I was sitting in a vision therapy waiting room while my daughter was being evaluated. They were showing me a video on vision and how it develops in infancy. As a baby your eyes are still learning to focus and your brain learns to perceive the world around you. When you are born blind you do not develop these receptors in your brain. I learned that people who had their vision restored surgically didn’t see as you and I do due to this lack of developmental stage. What really strikes me about the stories of Christ restoring vision is that He restored it as if they had always had it. It is such a thorough restoration! I would never have thought more of those healings if I hadn’t sat in that waiting room while my daughter worked hard to restore her visual perception. Praise the Lord for He restores us to wholeness.

In hindsight, I have learned that some of life’s greatest blessings come in the form of unanswered prayers. Never perceive a cross to bear as an abandonment. It is an invitation to walk with the Lord. The greater the cross, the greater the joy for with the Lord there will be tears no more.

Metaphysical 🎁 💜 are meant to be used to help a blind man. To feed those who are poor displaced,suffering. It is right to do such thing's. It is right to leave no one behind because of sec,denomination, race,creed. That is what I received from the sermon. I am greatful and thankful for this on All Saint's Day.. Wow. Your homily really helped me understand suffering from a spiritual perspective. All the attachments we have in this life blinds us to Jesus' healing powers. He wants to hear our desires, but only when we choose to have faith despite our sufferings, we can witness his true presence in our lives. Thank you Fr. Meeks for such a poignant explanation. at age 42 the Holy Priest Jack Spalding asked me"what do you want me to do for you?!!!" I asked for Baptism; and receiving the Sacrament; I literally was "Born again!" the change it made in my life was wonderful! 31 years later; I'm still on the Way! Thanks be to God! Father Spalding was later betrayed and a murderer's testimony against him led our bishop to kick him out of the diocese priesthood! The corruption I've seen in our Holy Catholic Church is terrible. Lord: may Your Mercy be upon us; as we place our Trust in You!

For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh.” Jesus warned us that a Church ran by humans would come with scandals, but he rebukes the root cause man of them, the one who allows them . It would be interesting after reading what I wrote here would Father Edwards go tradition what Jesus said interesting. Jesus Christ himself in the new Testament pointed you to the book of Daniel the book of Daniel clearly states a man of sin will think to change gods law and time this prophecy now is being fulfilled in plain sight for everyone to see that the Pope is trying to bring in a green sabbath Sunday that does not exist that can never exist Sunday can never replace the sabbath as a brother day. Sunday is a man-made doctrine in the 1940 catholic catechism it's states and I quote where the Catholic Church change the day from the sabbath to Sunday without any Scriptural evidence". So as it says in scripture do you accept Jesus doctrines or man's doctrines Jesus Christ is Lord of the sabbath the Pope is Lord of Sunday which Lord will you support when the green sabbath Sunday law comes in. It's not rocket science do you follow Jesus Christ or do you follow Man
