Like other commenters, I have an Olight Baldr S on my Taurus G3 (primary CC pistol). Taurus G3 & G3c pistols are popular due to unmatched quality/price ratio, reliability w/ almost all 9mm rounds, a manual safety lever, true single action functionality, good stock sights, lifetime warranties, & excellent ergonomics. Many people will chose a Taurus G3 over a Glock 19, or a G3c over a Glock 43x. I'm a mechanical engineer, & I know the Baldr S is very new. We Taurus owners would like to know when we can expect a Baldr S IWB holster.

I managed to find a custom holster maker who made me some awesome light bearing, IWB holsters for my G3 and G3c. There are good custom holster makers out there. With Olight becoming more popular, I've noticed many of the holster companies are now including them in their light bearing options.

We are always considering which pistols to build out the selection of lights for. Given that we usually spend a week getting designs correct for each pistol, it becomes a numbers game. If sales are low for a particular design, then it's less interesting to focus on that pistol. We track our requests at werkz.com/new-holster-notification and that's what helps inform our decision on which holsters to build next. Perhaps there are enough folks in your circle (forums / groups) that would request and we can look at scheduling design work... Blessings!

I'm simply stating it here for any readers: All 3 Baldr lights (Baldr Pro, Baldr Mini, Baldr S) each require a different holster because Olight sized each light differently. Thanks!

I love the werkz holsters, I wish they would go ahead and round and polish the back tip of the claw, it fixed the problem with it eating my middle finger on a aiwb draw stroke. Now there's more room for my middle finger and it's smooth when it does rub👍

What barrel and compensator is that on the G19X? I love the shape and mostly how flat the gun stays while you are firing it!

I believe that's a TRUE barrel with the PMM Comp. It's a solid setup. If you run a comp, you'll want to make sure it functions with your preferred ammo. I use 147gr in training and it cycles just fine.

We are starting to offer support for the Icarus grip module, which we see as an advantage because it keeps the light up higher to the pistol bore, where it should be. We do not currently have plans to support the recover tactical rail, or any of the other 3rd party aftermarket rail solutions in part because they put the light lower, and in part because there are too many of these aftermarket solutions causing much customer confusion. So... if you want a P365 with a rail, we recommend the Icarus. Hope that helps!

Wish they made one for a full size beretta px4 with the baldr mini. I know the px4 isn’t the most popular sidearm but I love it and I’ve never had a malfunction with this pistol even with janky second hand reloads it eats anything and goes bang every single time. Ergonomics fit my hand very well. I’d rather build my own holster than carry a different gun at the moment. Maybe one day I’ll get a compact 9mm. But probably not. I’d rather have the .45 since I’m comfortable with the recoil and have 20 rounds on tap with a spare 10 round mag. Edit: If you can’t get the job done with the first 10 rounds. You’d better use the next mag to make your way to a rifle.

I just got one of your holstets for a Glock 19 and Baldr mini light. It is a great, high quality holster. Will the holster work if I upgraded to the Baldr S? The lights look to be almost identical in dimension. Thanks for any info on this matter.

Great work guys... and quick! I've got the G19 Baldr Mini holster as well recently. I believe the front of the Baldr S is a lil bit longer than the Mini due to the higher lumen bulb housing. The other dimensions appear to be the same, so the S would not fit a Mini holster. However it looks like our Baldr Mini's might work in one of these New Baldr S holsters since the retention is on the quick release tab, which is the same and would be in the same spot. Guess we shoulda waited. Lol, Grass is always greener.

@@DFWCASSANOVA Jason, you nailed it in your response here as well. The Baldr S is longer, which means that in a Baldr Mini holster it bottoms out before the Olight lever has a chance to retain. That also means that the pistol carries higher in the holster and the holster doesn't cover the trigger guard when viewed from the side. We did try the Baldr Mini in our Baldr S holster. It fits, retains on the lever, clicks in, and feels good. It has a bit less support so it rocks in the holster slightly more, but most customers won't notice. So... if someone isn't sure which of the smaller Baldr lights they have, the Baldr S holster for their pistol should work sufficiently well.

I mounted my baldr s a little farther forward away from the trigger guard on my g17. How would this affect retention?

Our holsters are designed to have the light snugged up to the trigger guard. If it's forward, it will prevent the pistol from holstering all the way, and retention will be lessened.

Just ordered mine I carry the baldr mini with a clip draw and I have a baldr mini on my polymer80 can I still holster those in the baldr s holster?

We are working on P80 specific holsters now. Our experience is that the Baldr S holsters will fit and work acceptably (not perfect) with the Baldr Mini and possibly even the PL-Mini 2. The pistol will have a little more movement, but it snaps in and retains relatively well.

Unfortunately, the Baldr S dimensions are different, and won't fit in our Baldr Mini holsters. You'd need a different holster for that new light.

Holsters for the Baldr S tend to fit Baldr Mini "ok" but not great. Holsters for the Baldr Mini are too short to fit the longer Baldr S. Hope that helps!

Yes, Baldr S is larger and so we have to make specific holsters for each one. It's possible we don't have the Baldr S holster for your preferred pistol.

The Baldr S is a larger light. A Baldr Mini will fit into a holster made for the Baldr S, but not vice-versa. Hope that helps!
