I love Good Genes. I first tried after I saw you talk about it. It has really made my skin much smoother. I use it every day and I just love it. I have very oily acne prone skin. Since I started using it my skin has not broken out. I am so impressed with it. I was so impressed I tried their water cream too and I love it as well.

Yes! I’ve been anxiously awaiting this video:) I just finished my DE and while I enjoyed using it I can’t say I noticed a huge difference in my dark spots but maybe a small difference and I’m with you - just not big enough to justify the hefty price tag. They are both really great products. I prefer the DE over the Sunday Riley though. I like the thinner texture and the scent is better.

I love Sunday Riley I also bought naturisms 5% lactic acid emulsion its okay but nothing like my Sunday riley I am interested in trying the drmtology l.a.'s refining serum i haven't tried the DE one yet but i just absolutely love SR products that every time I can afford to splurge I splurge with them LOL although i wouldn't be hesitant to try DE but I'll probably love my SR more still lol

For the price, I didnt notice any real difference at all with the sun spots, but probs good for over all texture.

I definitely saw a difference. That was incredible! I voted, but I'd like to say it here too that I love to see you do the retinol next. I'm currently using the It Cosmetics one, and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't have any issues with it, but my friend, did so just be careful that you may have a reaction. I'm pretty used retinol, so maybe that was the issue? I'm not sure, but I haven't had any issues. I'm currently using the ordinary lactic acid and I'm pretty happy with it. It's funny how we all have different ways of doing their skin care. I pile it all on at the same time as my face is still wet. I was told that's how you're supposed to do it. Apparently it all absorbs better and you get a better absorption rate that way. Who knows right?❤❤

I’m not sure if it’s the Good Genes or what but I end up getting a few of the large like underground zits when I try incorporating it into my routine. I just finally stopped everything except gentle cleanser and LRP double repair moisturizer and then the cicaplast at night over it so I’m not using any actives right now. I did order some Biossance stuff to try. I think I ordered the vitamin C and eye cream. I can’t remember what else comes with the set but I’m excited to try it out. I hope it makes me look like Reese Witherspoon when I’m done. 🤣🤩

Wow the Good Genes one you can really see the difference on your before and after !! I want a product exactly like this and how it works !! I have the same issues as you with dark spots/hyperpigmentation and I want to fade then just like you !! Great review !!! Appreciate it !!

That instant drying and tingle from Good Genes doesn't mean it's better and may signal irritation is occurring. I'd rather go low and slow with DE than potentially causing irritation and dryness to my skin.

These both are pretty potent exfoliants with the potential for irritation, so I would alternate 👌🏻

Are used to drunk elephant in the morning I have a full size of it and I mean I don’t wanna say like it or don’t like it because I don’t really notice a difference but I also don’t have any issues with my skin I just I’m 31 so I’ve been trying to do more like preventative care I guess you can say but I also had a small sample of the Sunday Riley like a trial size and it pulls up on me every single time I use it and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong

You have to give the Drunk Elephant a few shakes to mix it up in the jar. Then it comes out cloudy and a bit thick. Not doing so result in a clear runny liquid. It also works GREAT for skin of color and once a week, at night. Don’t do the 2x a day, everyday. ✔️👍 Hope this helps.

I just got the Good Genes in my ipsy+... hope I love it but I wont pay that price to repurchase From DE I've only tried 2 things & been allergic to both. The protini peptide & tinted sunscreen I've never wanted to scratch my face as badly as I did with those. I'm kinda scared of DE

You like science. You should know that silicones and other fillers add slip and that's what gives you "high end" feel you speak off. Feeling emolient is not synonymous with high end. You would think that with the knowledge and lessons from brands like the ordinary that consumers would know better.
