Review of Candy Formula stainless WM1000X / C1040 1000 spin washing machine

A family member of mine had this exact machine which was bought in 1992 IIRC, it was still working when he passed 30 years later (although unfortunately despite it still working, it was thrown away as cosmetically it wasn't good). So my impression of those Candy's is that they're very good machines that last a long time!

The rating plate is very similar to my 2005 Candy, and this machine appears to date from Week 8 of 1976. I love the sound of the mechanical program timer ... And whichwasher2007's voice! ❤️ Spin, "A thousand is quite pathetic!" 🤣

At my previous job there was a C5103XT formula inox. That was bought in 1997 and its performance was amazing but sadly the bearing were going and I stopped working there in 2021 so I don't know if they still have it...

These sound like when hoover took over candy's, as the previous model didnt tumble on start of wash, only on boil wash, as static heat, suspension rods was a different style & more rigid, & spin went 400 to a click down upto 1000 straight up. . Hence why i think its a hoover underneath on part's,

But 1. This a full on Candy. And 2. Candy took over Hoover.
