The new and modern Machines are much better compared to the older ones The reason-They spin way faster 1,400rpm and above and that really gets the water out which effectively reduces drying time

I cannot see why older machines would suds up at all as those would draw in much more water compared to the modern washing machines but nowadays different types of detergents are used in laundry washing which will also help prevent excessive suds occuring
