Punisher 10 is such a great book. really interesting take on both Frank and Matt, and their character. I don't remember which issue it is but, there is a Daredevil issue that is not really a continuation, but a different reflection of the same story check that one out too.

X Factor 65 is am awesome Whilce cover. Has the whole X Factor team posing. Also the Punisher 10 issue goes along with Daredevil 257 drawn by JR JR. One is from Punisher perspective and the other is from Daredevil perspective. It's cool to look at both books at the same time and see how each artist presents the material. Uncanny X Men 282 is also one of my favorite covers.

Great job Regie, Whilce is an amazing artist. just a suggestion but maybe another artist that would be fun to spotlight would be John Byrne I know he has a ton of amaizing artwork but I would be interested to see which ones are your favorite. Keep up the great work.

Uncanny 282 and 290 are the first to come to mind when I hear Portacio. Before I got into comics heavily, I used to get his art mixed up with Jim Lee's. I'm predicting a Marc Silvestri video coming up since we're talking Image Boys lol.

I picked up a copy of Wetworks 1 in a newsstand version just recently from a dollar bin. Great find on an underrated book for sure. Glad you highlighted his work. And why is it that Uncanny X-Men 282 is worth more than Uncanny X-Men 283? It's like a twist on the age old argument over Wolverine's first appearance in Hulk 180 versus Hulk 181. When will the market understand???

Whilce is an underrated genius, totally forgot about those covers until this video, he got so overshadowed by Silvestri and Lee somehow, maybe it was his lower output? 🤷‍♂

You could potentially be right. He’s super talented but doesn’t necessarily get the same recognition as some of the other Image founders. I enjoyed his work just as much as Lee and Silvestri.
