Lucas and Caio are almost done with school. As friends they are inseparable and experience the best moments of their lives together. However, this is looming to change because Caio is going to move from Brazil to Germany. In light of their separation the true feelings between them become visible.

I've never been in that situation but I can only imagine how difficult it must be when you have to go and leave a person you love and have a unique connection with. Idk but I would do anything to stay with that person, love is hard to find these days to just let it go.

maybe. Many ways to think about it, thats what is making it that great! He can be dead and thats why he is seeing him, or he is not dead and is just imagining him, or the oher guy saw the accident and ran there but will still leave, or he didnt leave and will stay with his friend!

Great film! It really captures the weirdness of youth and young love, completely apart and irrelevant to their sexuality. The boys are wonderful actors in their quirkiness and uncertainty about what they are feeling. Not sure if it was all intentional, but it sure worked!

What a wonderful film with really impressive authentic actors. That you added so many subtitle languages is really great! 01:41: Two sensitive guys with a sense of romance. How beautiful! 02:51: Until a few seconds before, you think Caio is the one in love and it hurts him more than it will hurt Lucas, but then here it turns, because Lucas can't stand the pain and runs away. The scene at the bus stop is fascinatingly authentic. 05:04: Lucas even has a tear in his left eye (the right one, as seen from the viewer). 06:13: The way Caio looks at Lucas and then teases him with the rolled up receipt and then smiles really in love is so sweet! 08:07: Hmm, I wonder if Lucas wants the necklace put on right away because he saw Caio holding his t-shirt? 09:54: Lucas' necklace. What a symbolic gift, as it represents the confession of their love. 11:17: The tear rolling down Lucas's cheek from his left eye (right eye as seen from the viewer) and how they look at each other and how Caio then hugs him, gorgeous! I don't think Lucas died. The car certainly wasn't speeding in that environment, and after all, it still made a full stop. You don't see any blood or abrasions on the clothes or skin, and there shouldn't be any serious internal injuries either. I do not assume that Caio's parents flew without him. Probably the father flew alone and the mother stays with Caio because she wants the best for him, and that is his love Lucas. After what is known about the widespread, bad homophobia in Brazil, it may well be that the father does not want them to come at all.

I am intrigued by your comment, it sounds cool, the mother staying with Caio. But now, putting it in a more realistic way. Do you truly think that that's the best for Caio? He is still a boy (a teen it seems at least), at that age you really don't know what's the best for you, and at that age is very unlikely that Lucas will be his only love, Lucas is the first of possibly many people he will meet, separating the family for that is kind of risky. Maybe Caio could come back after some years when he becomes independent and Lucas is still waiting gor him. Even if it sounds kind of harsh, especially for the people watching the short, but Caio's father was right, life will continue, in Germany Caio would continue his life and meet new people, and he would fall in love with someone else.

All over the world, a mother's love for her son is likely to be stronger than her love for her husband. If the son is gay and the father is absolutely homophobic, but the mother is fully behind her son, this is definitely a valid reason for separation. But if the mother is financially dependent on her husband, that is a huge dilemma for her. She has to come to terms with her husband against her convictions, which cannot go well in the long run and will ultimately lead to a separation. But of course there are also mothers who disown their son because of this, but then they already had a not really good relationship with him before. Fathers, on the other hand, are almost always a problem, even if educated and non-religious fathers can overcome their homophobia over time.
