Such a lovely story. 😊 Your bunny is adorable. I love your decade of the '30's story. A little history never hurts. I remember my best friend's parents telling how they practically lived on potato soup. Praying we never see that again. 🙏 Oh...love how you mentioned how your grandmother would add the date on masking tape for her canning. My mom did the same. I don't know what her mom did...she passed when my mom was about 12. And now mom is no longer with us to ask.

Well, done! But most of the ppl lost their farms in the 1930's. , so they had no place for a garden. Also, they were on the move, chasing jobs. They were migrants and were Americans. A lg. population came to CA where they worked as farm laborers, picking & packing fruit and lived in migrant camps. No free handouts for them. I loved the round bunny!
