Hi, I am 70 years old and trying the owl lol what a hoot! My daughter loves owls. Eight children each getting something crocheted, painted, knitted, sewn, and now four baby grandchildren. I love your enthusiasm and whimsy! Stay young forever!

I posted earlier but now I spent the day making it and was very pleased! Most of the time was spent figuring out supplies and creative license! I love the beak which is very problematic for owl makers lol its very cute and fits in. I posted it on my facebook. My daughter is never to old to get a hoot! Thank you for making it an easy project. My Saturday is gone LOL who cares! I had fun.

But the best part about you and your channel is you are teaching and sharing all these wonderful patterns for free. I'll be honest, we struggle money wise (who doesn't these days) and it's not always possible to get my kids things. Christmas is always tough. But because of you, I'm able to make them things that are unique and exactly what they want. It makes me feel like I'm not a horrible mom lol. It just means a great deal to me. More than I can actually express in words. Thank you Jayda!

hello Jada. I just finished my first owl from your tutorial. mine is a little different because I just kind of attached the eyebrows like attaching a tassel and kind of groom him slightly and he kind of looks like a nut job too and that was the look I was going for. when I turned him around he was obviously missing some tail feathers so I used the same yarn as the eyebrows and gave him some tail feathers to wiggle she's absolutely darling and my 20 year old niece has already taking him home I wanted to show you a picture but I don't know how to get it to you thank you so much.
