Turning Orphans into workers! // Running the worst Orphanage in town!

Mrs Strep has always been a kind caring lady all her life, but today she’s decided it’s time to put herself first and engage in some highly illegal fun!
In this video I’ll be running an Orphanage with a cute twist, instead of taking care of the needs of children, we’ll be locking them up and turning them into workers so that we can afford to fund our drinking habits.
I hope you like my orphanage, I think it’s a good role model for how a real orphanage should be. Let me know in the comments if you too have tried to run your own orphanage in the sims 4!

I know this was a while back but I think it's the dangling light in the cell. That's why he can't get to the fridge

That was my one and only guess. I had a non-functional kitchen once because of a low hanging light. But why couldn't she cook upstairs? Everything was greyed out, usually that means something is missing, but nothing was and at a minimum you should be able to grab snacks from the fridge. And it couldn't have been a blocking problem because things being blocked doesn't preemptively grey out options because the Sims isn't smart enough to do that. Actions will just fail instead.

The way to make money with kids is through the Seasons' decoration box, just make them search through it bent over all day. in the sims their backs won't give out.

I was listening to videos as KZbin auto-played one after another and this video started playing. I then vaguely remembered (I have a really bad memory) watching a video months ago of someone playing a Sims 4 female who held a bunch of children in her basement as she forced them to work. I think Stella's "drawings" were bad because of her being tense. I would love to see another episode of this!! Maybe if you gave the children things that could be more useful for their emotions, would help them draw better and make you more money.

There’s actually some mods by Zulf that let kids cook and stuff. I’ve tried this orphanage thing a lot and I make a lot of simoleons by having them work on multiple things and then selling them for 300% on craft tables and the street gallery.

can i jusr say that since watching your videos i have done nothing but play sims 4 with the pregnancy mods and the mccc mod... my favorite thing about it is making it easier to breed your sims without having to put in the time (i was tired of having a sim be rejected and just growing old and never meeting anyone) and of course i knew about the mods, but havent really thought about using them until your channel.... my current family consists of a brother and a sister that were the children of teenage parents, their parents died, and they became teenage parents themselves... the brother has 3 kids and gave his girlfriend a promise ring and moved in with his girlfriend... and the sister is a single mother who has been pregnant twice but the first baby was lost due to it being an ectopic pregnancy, and then she got pregnant with her son... the brother's girlfriend ALMOST lost their third baby but it was saved... so much drama....

I think the only other option would be to either put them all in one room together for social or maybe have a small half wall in between the cells...
