I don't know the name. I don't think they mentioned it when I was there. But I bet if you did a Google search for Turkish dervish music you would find something very similar.

I agree. Although this performance was much shorter than usual for a dervish ceremony, it was still beautiful. As for the hat, I think that dervishes often do wear hats this big. Согласен. Хотя это представление было намного короче, чем обычно для церемонии дервишей, оно все же было красивым. Что касается шляпы, я думаю, что дервиши часто носят такие большие шляпы.

no one claims that every single person in Turkey does this dance. No one claims that this kind of dancing is part of the traditional culture and every single part of Turkey. But Konya most certainly is in Turkey, and it is an extremely important part of both Turkish tradition and Turkish modernity. Such forms of Sufi worship are found not just in Konya but also another places in Turkey.
