Depends on what you need more. Tyraels for defense ring for offense but both are good choices

Honestly... thank you for this vid and guide. Im just am average D4 player but with your guidance i was able to take down uber Lilith for the first time because of this build. Im sure I'm butchering the timings of skills vs what you show (I lose discipline during the fight) but I was still able to take her down. I finally feel like I've built an end game character and its my favorite build so far!

Definitely looking forward to trying this. Im currently running Rob's WW DD build (the one marked current mace with all the ubers) and clearing mobs is very fast but boss clear takes forever despite having 80% crit chance, 4500% crit dmg, and 500% vuln. I can't replicate anything close to his boss clears so ill give this a shot!

@@cliptis86 Will report back after respec later today! Quick question on skill rotation, do you just alternate between WW and HOTA or is there a pattern of say after 3x WW then use HOTA until fury depletes? Hoping to learn the optimal attack pattern and let muscle memory kick in haha.

@stabadus24 hey it's just back and forth as soon as you see the WW animation you HotA. At the end of all my videos I do a live gameplay loop. I'm not sure if I covered that exactly but I think I did.

Just to recap on bleed damage. I play hardcore and want to incorporate high bleed damage to take on tormented boss while maintaining big defense. So I want to squeeze as much as I can without compromising survival! Here is what I understand from your video : 1. You want Crit Chance high to trigger gushing wounds 2. You want about 5000 crit damage multiplier 3. You want 300 berserking damage Is having just that would be enough to hit hard enough for 1 of the tormented boss (any no preference) to be killed without running into tormented stacks problem (without any ubers so no tyreal might) ? Also will that damage still be good in season 5 with the nerf on gushing wounds ?

If you're not running any ubers your crit damage won't be that high. The grandfather multiplies your crit damage by 100%. You'll still do a lot of bleed of you stack crit damage and vulnerable. This won't be viable next season with the nerf unless the new aspects and gear carries really hard.

@@cliptis86 They are nerfing the bash cleave temper damage from about 100% to 20% from what I heard. As big as that seems it seems like a smaller nerf then the gushing wounds which will be scaled to 1/50 mnaking it sort of useless ? About WW dust devil: If the season started tomorrow how do you suggest scaling the dust devil damage? Beserking damage does scale and is it additive or multiplicative? Crit damage does not work right? Vulnerable does not work either right? Close damage is supposed to work if I am not mistaken? Coming from D2 where damage was simple (except maybe open wounds and crushing blow) it is something that is really annoying with D4. The complete overcomplication of how to get your damage up. Damage is similar in POE it is overcomplicated

No problem! They are completely different so it comes down to gameplay preferences. Which one looks like you'd enjoy more? They run off a lot of the same gear and concepts.

@borimex20 I have two barbs one for ww and one for ww hota. So I use both. They probably have similar levels they can push to. I haven't tested it all yet. Ww HotA isn't as easy of a set up as just pressing WW.

You go have to level a Rogue and her that to temper

They are fixing it in the next season. My rogue was level 61 when I found the temper so a little over an hour of work and I was done.

Cliptis - another great laydown and explanation but a few questions 1. How in the world did you get over 5k crit dmg. Even with GF I can muster 2.3k 2. Build link? 3. Is this primarily for PC cause us Console boys cannot control Leap as good and from who I have talked to, not many of us use it. 4. Why not polearm & polearm expertise? x15% while healthy vs x10% dmg to only vulnerable? Any suggestions would be awesome and keep up the great work (KEEP explanations going cause if I saw your build and paragon board they don't make sense but did when you explained them)

You have to use a grandfather sword. It doubles your crit damage. So you only need to get 2500 and it turns into 5k. You have have probably enough now, just need the sword.

@@hauseradventures5278if you read it properly he does have GF. What you need is the Crit dmg rogue temper to temper the crit dmg to the rest of your weps/other pieces of gear

Yeah like Jonathan said you'll need to level a rogue only until you get the crit temper manual. Then you have to use the rogue to temper the gear you need.

@Michaelabehsera21 there are a couple different options. You could switch rallying cry, if you wanted to see it, I covered it in the skill second. That would generate it, but also taking damage generates fury. So if you pop rallying cry, run into a group of monsters your fury fills to full in a second.

Hey at the end of all my videos I put a gameplay loop. I will try to write something out but all you do is leap, hold down the whirlwind button and then tap hammer of the ancients to swap back and forth between hammer and ww

With the Harlequins crest you get points into skills so you can use them without putting points into it.

Yeah you need high critical strike damage and really high crit chance for this to work well. Same with the WW bleed build and bash bleed build.

Hey this isn't only a WW build this is a weapon swap build. It's much different and just a fun variation. WW HotA is a build from S2 and S3. I covered the differences between this and WW in the video. I have a WW barb also.

@@cliptis86 The armor it self is fantastic, love that we can get max res for example, the bolts are cool but it’s the constant spam cycle we’re doing that I dislike, I don’t think that should be in the game for an armor piece, I wouldn’t mind if it was a as the OG with sending out bolts in a set timer when you’re focusing on gameplay and other mechanics :)
