What I do is start scrolling right before I hit the ground. Just make sure that you're going to have enough time to continue your scroll for when you have to jump.

ive tryed learning bunny hoping for a long time and i can never get it consistently to a point where i can always do it. i always end up slowing do really quickly, it feels like i shouldve gotten it by now idk what the deal is.

A lot of it is personal preference, there are a lot of people that claim hitbox differences, I'm not sure about all of that. Just prefer 8x6 =) I can attest to lower resolutions being smoother however.

according to me..... the game came in 1999 and during those times the computer specification were not really dat powerful to run it at high reso..... so since the old skul players used the low reso, the legacy continued to the later generations too........ but higher reso is too sharp on the edges or walls it sometimes can be hard for the eyes.....

If he has a framerate of 144 and his display refreshes at that rate then that's what he can see. If someone else plays at 60 hz because he's using a regular TFT panel like most of us, myself included, then yes - he can see the other guy before he appears on the other guy's screen. His screen has already refreshed, the other guy's screen has yet to do so.

No, the Hz is the refresh rate for the monitor. 60Hz, which is the most common equals the monitor refreshing its pixels 60 times every second. 200 fps can hardly be the best fps for bunny hop. 100 fps is the best if you want to get a good timing. You are correct about the engine; With 200 fps you move slower thus have more airtime. Using developer 1 isn't really considered to be legitimate though.

hey I noticed playing on 200 fps gives a smoother gameplay, Although it makes no sense as a typical monitor cant refresh that fast enough, but maybe it has something to do with the Engine, My bunny hoping improves, somehow i feel im a bit slow motioned and my recoil seems more reliable aswell. I can attest to that! Can you please check that? oh and to get fps 200, first you have to put developer 1

In Quake 3/Live sj/bh quite esier xD ...but, still not for everyone, especialy CPMA and DeFrag versions. And Quake have rocket/granade/plasma jumps, overbounces, wall jumps, stair jumps, double jumps etc.
