Congrats to Wil, Robert and Brad. So happy it finally hit the milestone. I chipped in to it as much as I could over the years.

I want to thank all the good folks who have discovered this video and watched it again and again, pushing it over half a million views. Not bad for a song that was only really a soundcheck tune to warm up on. Lets make it a million! Unheard of for a fiddle tune.

+WilMaring A very beautiful lady picking that bass fiddle in a quarter beat at the very beginning. I was fascinated you could come in on key on time and pick up the tempo. Everyone did this song justice and then some. Thanks to all of you.

+WilMaring I have a young (14 yrs. old) beginning banjo student who loves this tune and wanted to learn it. She's only been playing about 5 months, so I worked up a "beginner" arrangement for her. We're not up to this speed yet, but I have every confidence she will get there. Loved listening; great job on a beautiful old tune!

As a 'Folkie' Guitarist of old, I've heard & played many renditions of this over decades!!... But this is by far the best version I have ever heard!!!. Simplicity, (regarding the number of players), detailed melody & harmonies including perfect accompanied syncopation... Could not be better!

Three fine artist. I feel so priveledged to have attended one of Brad Davis's workshops. This was in the 80's before he became part of the established music world. His skill on the guitar is phenominal. I recommend his DVDs and lessons. Wil Mare is one excellent bass player and singer in her own right. Robert Bowman's skills speak for themselves.

Just found this and it made my day. Magic! There is something basically joyful in the sound these people make together. Listening to all their stuff now, but there isn't enough. I love how they change up their instruments. And the recording quality is really good for a youtube vid, that bass is rich and mudless. Wil's voice (on a different tune) reminds me a lot of Deb Talan of The Weepies. Somebody needs to name this non-band trio jam thing so us fans have something to call y'all.

This was perfection at it's best. The quality and clarity from all three instruments was unmistakably done by true artisans of an art we don't get to hear much of on mainstream radio or any entertainment venue as far as that goes. I'll be playing along with my guitar many times in hopes I can learn the small details that makes this great. Thank you so much guys and to the person uploading for the rest of us to enjoy.
