The No Russian mission and the mission in Brazil set the tone for me on this game, after finally getting through Wolverines, of their own accord and seeing DC was a warezone and than finally getting passed whiskey hotel..it finally hit me that we are all witnessing one of the greatest games ever made

I agree, I live in Brazil and favela takedown/hornets nest are my favorite missions. It occurs at the community of Pavão Pavãozinho in Rio de Janeiro, the map is quite realistic. It shows really well the dynamics of combat in the favela. Every day till this day people are playing Call of Duty in real life there.

These jet are Mig 29 -_- F15 engines nozzle are much closer to each other, double tail is straight vertical, air intakes are on cockpit side rather than belly...

Simon Rano believe it or not the USAF bought some MiG-29s some years ago for training, so these 2 could be some of those from further west that wasn't affected by the EMP. Or they simply stole them from a recaptured airbase.

I believe you but I still believe it is a mistake from the game team. There is no way Russia would be able to deploy Mig 29 on US soil, especially from a ground base they would have conquered. The Mig-29 is a air superiority fighter, not a bomber. Just a few of them are modified to operate from carriers so it is not likely the US captured them during this hypothetic event. If those Mig-29s are from US military they would have dispatched several of them to DC, equipped them with ground attack payload and dispatch trained pilots (who probably never trained for bombing on this aircraft) all that in a few hour span after the EMB. Mig-29s are from the 80s, and contain sensitive electronics, they wouldn't be able to fly neither if even radios or EOTech sights are inoperative. Vacuum tubes are not much less sensitive than solid state electronic. The Mig-25 used this tubes but it came out 20 years prior to the Mig-29, but yeah the 29 is hydraulic not FBW some how less exposed, still crash-landable in case of electronic failure I guess. The Mig-29 have 1 500 km of range so less than the EMP range from a nuke detonated at proper altitude (BTW i'm amazed that Price can handle alone an ICMP platform, reconfigure a missile and launch it all in cyrillic alphabet) Finally, in MW3 Black Thuesday, they mentioned an F-22s raid displaying F-15Es so they get confuse with aircraft time on a regular basis.

What I'm most sad of is that there would be hundreds of gun "youtube experts" that would have been mad if they confused a M16 for a M4. This gulag sequence is the aircraft equivalent of firing a 9 mm round from a AK 47 by a US solider.

Although it would have been cool I don't think it would have as powerful as an ending as mw3 had with finally killing Makarov playing as price at the end, one thing I wish happened tho was just to wrap things up I wish we seen all 3 American squads from the 3 games I think it would be awesome to witness ww3 from the eyes of the USMC recon (different squad from cod 4 for obvious reasons), 75th Rangers with hunter team, and Delta Force with team metal metal I think that would have been cool tho, like maybe have the USMC defend the homeland at various points in the country, have 75th Rangers in various points around Europe, and follow Delta Force as we do in campaign already starting in New York and continuing through the campaign as normal
