This song, original and cover, is one that always does it for me. Far as the music video, I feel this portrayal is a bit of an overdramatization, but yeah. Sometimes it doesn't take much to send people over the edge. Can be a quick thing in some cases.

Caitlynne Curtis has a voice that is wickedly beautiful. At around 2:13 when she goes more dark with the feelings of the wrods ans the drums kick in at the same time. This is a breakout for her. Hand down, I cannot losten to the original anymore.

The reason this cover video relates so much to the original video is because to the guy's POV, there was consent. The original had the guy walk in on the chick in their bed with another man. In this cover, the guy sees someone kissing his girl AND she pulls him into her. However, she is pulling him in to push him away which goes unseen by the significant other.

I like the country version better. The weird up beat rock to the chorus just seems... wrong? It just made the song less tragic. I'm enjoying your channnel.

Great cover but the damn video destroyed the whole narrative of the song imo. The whole point is that she cheated on him very much with intent and she felt deep guilt and remorse. This seems like it was portrayed as a unwarranted uninvited kiss where she looked to not enjoy it one bit
