Who played drums on the record?

You sound great! When playing live, do all songs have the click track with verse/chorus/bridge count-ins?
@NealYakopinDrums2 ай бұрын
Yes, to be very honest - I don’t even really hear them when we play. But everyone has preferences for what they want in their iem mix so it’s good to have them

What is that unit to the left of your hi-hat you are finger tapping to queue stuff in on?

It’s a midi controller that can control certain actions in Ableton Live (verses, chorus, start, stop, etc). Or it allows him to jump around if the band misses something or if they want to call something out on the fly. I use an Alesis samplepad pro that controls my Ableton Live set back in monitor world along with a Track Rig to give us stereo and mono outputs for tracks and click/cues.

I remember when drummers actually played and they where the click now its just a bunch of MILLI VANILLI BULLSHIT JUST SAYING!!!
@JoshDavis10164 ай бұрын
Have you ever tried to play with the click? There are a lot of drummers out there that really struggle when they try to play with it. It’s just another skill of its own, doesn’t mean you aren’t a good drummer if you use a click, quite the opposite.
@KevinSitaras5 күн бұрын
Clicks have been around for a long time dude. They’ve become way more common, but people in the 80’s were using them too. Also, when you’re programming lights, clicks become a necessity. Nobody has perfect time. If you think you’re going to get hired nowadays without playing to a click, you are sorely mistaken.
