The original Outpost edition was never released I guess it got shelved in the middle of Whiskeytown's switch from Outpost to Lost Highway. That version has a much more full, organic sound than the Lost Highway version. You can tell that Jim Scott (who produced Strangers Almanac) produced that version, it has his classic production sound. I always play the Outpost version when I listen to this album. The Lost Highway version was probably produced by Ethan Johns, you can really tell the difference in the mix. Also, there is a second unreleased track on the Outpost version called "Choked Up" which is pretty good, too.
