This video won't get anywhere near the views it deserves because it's not a list but this content is so damn needed in the whiskey universe on KZbin. Seeing the passion, work, and people behind these things is so incredibly cool and important and there are very few people who can put out this type of content so cheers to you for doing it and doing it damn well!

I love this stuff. Interesting to what craft goes into making your favourite drink. I still remember this chemistry class I had way back in high school that sparked my interest for distillation. Our teacher brought in this bottle of cheap fortified wine and he told us: today we are going to take the alcohol out of this, and he distilled it to as pure as he could get with the small lab sized still.

I love these types of videos y’all do about the process of making whiskey even if you’ve done multiple in the past I still love seeing the process and how there’s a little changes here and there from other distillers that y’all have shown on your channel that makes their whiskey distinct to them.

to be honest, a video like this needs to be put up every now and then. just to break away from like a list video or a shenanigans video (even though this had a little bit of shenanigans in it) it's nice to see the projects and the process of the distillery and seeing what you guys are doing and seeing people we normally don't see. I really enjoy these videos because it brings the channel/ tribe back down to earth because anytime i watch you guys when friends/ people in the vicinity, it's usually the shenanigan videos where you do weird quirky, but also educational, experiments.and most of the people around me think i watch you guys just for whiskey recommendations or the shenanigans. and while it is both, i do enjoy videos like these to remind me why i enjoy whiskey with some good company. You hit it on the head with that statement "It is the experiences we have together around that bottle. Like minded people in good spirits" and it's helped me shaped the way i create experiences with not just people around me, but that random person at the bar now. This community has helped me shaped drinking alcohol in way that's more positive than negative. Cheers to you and the Tribe.

I'm a cocktail person, and not even a whiskey person, but I have fallen in love with this channel. I love this type of content, as much as the tasting, and the shenanigans. Rex and Briana constantly crack me up, and Daniel makes me smile with his excitement and knowledge about whiskey. I watched Deb's farewell episode recently, and it made me want a big hug from Rex... I loved seeing it passed through that single sieve - the whisky industry filters so aggressively, you can see how much colour (flavour compounds) are lost when you look at how stained the stacks of paper filters they use are. A very educational video, cheers!

Guys…this is one of your best videos yet! Yes, it’s a change of pace but in a WONDERFUL way. Part of the appeal of your channel(s) is expanding actual knowledge about the spirits industry. Because of the BS laws around distilling here in this wonderful country we call home, most of us never get to see the details and tradecraft that go into building a whiskey. This is awesome and I think you guys should do more of it. If it lags in clicks, then maybe save the deep dives for us Patreons…THIS IS AWESOME CONTENT.
