Pasta Sauce AKA Sugo:
Step 1:
Dice:
4 cloves of garlic
1 whole yellow onion
5-10 leaves of fresh basil
Step 2:
Simmer until softened in extra virgin olive oil
Step 3:
Add half a pound to a pound of beef ribs or oxtail and cook until brown on all sides.
Step 4:
Add 2 jars of Mutti or Molisana Passata Strained Tomatoes.
Add diced basil
Add half a cup of red wine
Add salt to preference (roughly two tablespoons per jar of tomatoes used is my preference)
Bring sauce to a boil and then reduce heat to allow sauce to simmer for 2-5 hours (3 plus hours is sufficient but closer to 5 for optimal taste)
