1. Jo wooden barrel hota hai, wo sirf oak wood ka hi banta hai. 2. Is barrel me koi kil ya kanti ka upyog (barrel ko banane ke liye) nahin hota hai. Sirf outer ring ke madad se barrel ko tight rakha jata hai. 3. Barrel ko inside se jala diya jata hai aur isi charcoal ka colour whisky ko milta hai. Whisky ka apna koi color nahin hota hai, ye jab distilled ho kar nikalta hai to ye pani ki tarah colourless hota hai.
