If you use T sceptre to lower def, does your shadow hit less? I use it on zulrah

Sceptre isn't worth it from the math I did. Awakened forms are all immune to stat reductions for one thing. But on regular Whisp, Shadow's already got nutty accuracy, and the Sceptre spec doesn't had hardly any DPS. It's like -1 second per spec. The amount of DPS you gain over the course of a kill from an average Sceptre spec is less than the amount you lose just because of the Sceptre spec's bad DPS compared to the Shadow. I didn't use a spec against Whisp personally. With her melee damage and how much defense she has, it's really not worth bringing any spec. Magic specs are pretty bad (which is probably a good thing for PVP!)

@@Megatron9000 what about for zulrah? I bought shadow instead of tbow since you mage zulrah a bunch but idk if I should be reducing its def with scepter

@@Croc. Eldritch isn't great. You need to get a pretty crazy trip length for the supplies to be worth it. EG, if you go from a 15 kill trip to a 30 kill trip and your banking time is 1 minute, the difference is equivalent to about 2 seconds saved per kill. That doesn't count the minor DPS loss from the spec and the fact that you're more incentivized to use a worse mage prayer or none at all. It also doesn't factor in the possibility of filling your inventory with loot and being forced to bank. That all said, I haven't tested it and there might be something I'm overlooking! I use the Bossing Info plugin to track my KPH. Might be worth trying!

@@alimatt9685 Shadow's got nutty accuracy on Zulrah, so with the spec you get almost identical DPS on phases you're maging, according to the Bitterkoekje calculator (~0% to ~1% dif). If you want to play around with it google "Bitterkoekje DPS calculator."
