Hi Brian, another great review, yes it’s always nice to see a new manufacturer come into the picture it can only be good for the consumer having more of a choice and hopefully makes a big three stand-up and look at each other and try to push the limits of TV’s even further and hopefully starts to bring the cost down

Good Evening, Brian. I am glad to see that Sharp is back. I miss my 40" Quattron. I have no use for the Roku platform, however. The sound is very good and would be great if I didn't have a Yamaha Aventage AVR running 5 speakers. Great job, Brian... Keep up with the reviews, I enjoy your work and presentation. Thank you for your time!

Hey Brian, Thank you for the great work and thank you, even more, for covering this tv. Currently, you’re the only tech reviewer on here covering Sharp’s comeback; unfortunately, it sounds like most people in the industry don’t know that Sharp owns Sharp again, so they don’t bother reviewing their tvs.
@ErinGoBragh09309 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, I forgot my question, or questions: does Sharp’s oled have a pixel shifter and pixel refresher setting that can be enabled/disabled manually? Or, does it do it automatically? Lastly, do you know how the cable management is routed? It’s hard to tell by your video, but you did mention it has it (since the feet are thin, I’m assuming they’re going with the Sony approach over the past few years and just using clips that attach to the feet). Again, thank you 🙏🏻

Good to see Sharpe back in the game. By the way. Remember I said I was done buying tv's my Brother? Well I was wrong as I went out and bought a 65inch LG C3 OLED that will be replacing my legendary C1. LOL and I said I would never replace my C1. It was a deal I couldnt pass up Brian. I guess that old saying never say never doesnt apply to this great hobby.

The Sharp OLED looks good. I'm just a little concerned of its reliability and lifespan with their latest re-entry into the American market. Who manufactures their panels and processors for upscaling? Hisense, Foxconn or Sharp Corp?

I used to love sharp when it was 1080p but now I wouldn't buy it for a penny It's too thick sharps technology is behind instead of going forward they're going backwards I don't know what happened to them 10 years ago they decided to pulled out of Canadian market for no reason. But I still own one from 2010 It's still working It's 1080p and great picture It's full LED.

You keep mentioning Rtings's review of this. Out of the three 2023 non-MLA WLEDs, the LG C3 beats the Sharp FS1 and Sony A80L in certain areas of performance. The A80L beats the FS1 in some areas, while the FS1 beats the A80L in others. Look at things like pre-calibration color accuracy, color volume, viewing angles, HDR native gradiant, etc.. Rtings's measurements for the Sharp FV1 in certain areas of performance were a little below my expectations as well. Considering the reputation Sharp had years ago, this is disappointing for me because I was actually rooting for them to be at least equal with Sony. But numbers don't lie. For some people, color saturation is like bass in audio. You're right. It IS our right to be color freeks and bass heads and blast our color and bass as much as we wish. I respect that. As a performing musician however, I personally prefer tonal and picture accuracy with no artificial trimming NOR boosting to color saturation and EQ. I have more to say about how I think people are confusing color accuracy with undersaturation, but I think that would be a little too off-topic for this video. I would like some opportunity to share my theories about that in the future at some point.
