Sweet video Remy, love Brittany's riding. You can see her fitness with the how she can throw her bike around at will and her great line choice's are enhanced by her skiing. The kind of video that gets me stoked to ride. Thanks to you both!
@dhrracer3 жыл бұрын
She does throw the bike around. But I would say a bit too much. Every time she lifts that rear wheel and repositions it she is shifting more weight to the front and there fore into her arms as well as asking her back tire to regain traction. I would love to see her do a second run following Remy then a third with her leading and see if she makes any adjustments to her lines and technique.

That is a sweet looking trail! I have to say, seeing Whistler in the title almost turned me off watching this. I'm pretty tired of all the jump line videos - you've watched one, you've watched them all. Brittany rocks that trail too. I think having a playful attitude to riding trails can only help make people better riders, including for racing. It just trains the rider to be able to use whatever terrain they're given to make of it what they will. I'd love to see her racing bikes more. Also interesting to see Rémy wear gloves in this video - but not when it's barely above freezing in his winter videos, LOL!

Great videos like usually I have a question Do you have any tips how to follow someone down a trail? I have a big problem to do that , I loose balance and I feel very unstable on the bike due to the movements of the rider in the front. I feel like i can’t look very well a head of the rider in front to see the trail coming and if I watch the rider in front I start to anticipate way too much my movements. Hope this make any sense hahah but thanks for any advice
@ahrenwoiczyk3 жыл бұрын
Try giving yourself more space between riders at first until your comfortable following closer
@remymetailler3 жыл бұрын
Tough one to answer. You need to be very confident riding the trail alone and a faster speed in order to follow close by.
@snomanizdman3 жыл бұрын
Like in car racing or moto racing..."look through" the person in front of you. Ok to get cues from watching the way their bike reacts...but dont focus on them. Focus where you want to go.
@misterchow3 жыл бұрын
It helps if you have a similar riding style as the person you're trying to shadow. If you like to pop and your partner likes to hug the trail it makes things more difficult to trust their line.
@JoPro063 жыл бұрын
Be confident on the rider in front of you. If you know the rider knows the trail well, and won’t take any unnecessary stupid risks, then it should be safer and more confidence inspiring to stay close behind. But, if they are more new and less skilled it might be scary as you won’t necessarily know where they brake, and how big of a possibility it is that they might crash. Important that you’re confident on your brakes and the grip in case of an accident.
