What monopod and monopod head do you use? I have the Canon EF600mm II and this might be less expensive than upgrading to the lighter EF III or RF 600.

Great stuff Ron. Question though, if this works, why would I get the full harness? Just for more safety so you dont drop the camera?

the harness is a better system . This belt sits too close to the body so the camera/lens/monopod is too vertical so you can put it comfortably over your shoulder like the harness when walking around. I had the harness with the belt and had to cut the belt out for that reason. It now works great.
