I didn't like the look of the place to be honest - seems tacky from the outside with all the slot machines - probably noisy too. I like peace and quiet with my cup of tea and cake/bucket of wine and chips!

That Job centre is appalling. Maybe it's done by design so they dont get any custom. Anyway, I can't wrap my head around why you have to go to a job centre to get a council parking ticket. You used to get them from Tourist Information. The last time I got parking permits I chose to drive to Scarborough Town Hall rather than deal with Job Centre and the Stasi like attitudes of its staff.

That place is not busy on the harbour front and they don't want you to review? Perhaps their main revenue is not what it may seem? One of my favourites is a bacon sandwich made with toast. My dad introduced me to this one a long time ago, but many cafes don't do it and only offer bacon in dry bread buns .For me, a bacon, or sausage butty has to have butter on it both sides of the bread or toast.

Hi Simon. Yesterday our grandson wanted to eat fish and chips in Whitby (we live in grimsby). We took recently bereaved sister in law ( who lives opposite railway station) to Spoons then we are in Trenchers. I had best haddock i have ever had in a restaurant ( i have sold fish). You can get it with or without skin Used to use Magpie. Trenchers from now on !!!
