Due to the popularity of the first season which is released from 1998, white album 2 VN was a real hit on the market.However, i don't know about the west, maybe people just doesnt like drama ? lol. Also, i'm not sure why we couldn't get any english version despite the big name.

Touma was in favor and i get it. Blah blah Setsuna stole him away even though she knew they had feeling for each other blah blah. She only got together with him so she wouldnt be left behind blah blah. First of all,Setsuna only said she confessed to be together with the trio cuz of her guilt for barging into their little world and stealing away Haruki. She wanted to lessen the guilt Haruki had for cheating with Touma so he could be true to his feelings when meeting Touma at the airport. She knew what would've happened if the 2 met in the airport but she still insisted for Haruki to meet Touma. She even said "No way thats true", referring to her statement back on her train. (We know this cuz it showed the clip where she said so then to the clip where she said "No way thags true") Setsuna loved Haruki the same amount than Touma. Setsuna forgived Haruki for cheating on her because of her twisted way of thinking everything was her fault, barging into the little world that they had, when she really didn't need to feel that much guilt over it to be depressed. Setsuna was the main reason why Touma and Haruki could've even gotten so close at first. If Setsuna didn't do anything or even confess, Touma wouldn't have ever came to terms with her feelings towards Haruki. Setsuna suffered imensely throughout the anime and the VN, yet she tries to hide it behind a smile every time and supports the 2, Touma and Haruki. Setsuna even told Touma that she was in love with Haruki before the confession and she asked it she was ok if she could take Haruki post confession. Setsuna was in love with Haruki, but if it would ruin everybody's relationship, then she would rather get hurt herself so it wounding get to that. There are 3 Endings to the VN (so I've heard) 1) They all remain friends 2) Touma Ending - They got together and literally left Setsuna behind 3) Setsuna Ending - They got togetber. Setsuna and Touma reconciled and they lived happily ever after They were all equally at fault Setsuna for her twisted way of friendship and wanting to stay together forever. She commited the least sins out of the 3. She did steal Haruki away and blah blah but I've explained that before. Touma for not being true and open about her feelings. If she had, things wouldn't have turned out the way it had. Haruki for being sucked into the moment and dating Setsuna. If he wasn't sure about who he loved more, he should've just waited after the he comes to his realization then act on it. Also for his self judgement of his character. He thinks he's inferior to Touma that's why she would never loved her, so he settled with Setsuna. He also struggled with commiting with his relationship but that's just how Love Triangle stories go. The reason why I love this anime way more than School Days, for lots of obvious reasons of course, but more specifically how they managed the love triangle. No character was particularly at fault. It didn't make me hate any of the characters. I, went into this anime, after seeing all the spoilers FOR FUCK SAKE, sided with Touma from the start cuz obviously she wins, but midway through the anime, I started to find myself shift into the middle ground and just hoped for the best for the characters. I didn't want any of them to get hurt. I want all of them to find happiness but ultimately that wont happen since i already knew the ending. Again, nobody was particularly at fault, and I don't think we shouldn't argue who's at fault and who's not. They're all equally guilty. Selfish or not. Who initiated the conflict of not. Who cheated or not. They all commited equally the same amount of mistakes, that's how they got themselves in that grave situation, but they're just human. High schoolers. Their first loves, at that. We make mistakes and that's our nature. Well this got deep real quick. Well this is just my thoughts on the whole "Who's at fault argument". Setsuna is by far the better character in my opinion. She is the most flawed and best written character in the series and one of the of the best characters I've seen across any medium. The anime only adapted one route of the introductory chapter, leaving CODA and the ending chapters. The anime was more Touma biased whilst the Visual Novel revolved around Setsuna -Setsuna was in the center of each route - we get to see her character more and understand the depths of her character. After breaking per 7 to 8 times after playing all the routes, you just cant help but fall in love with her character. This is coming from a Ex-Touma fan btw.
