White Castle- Frozen Castle Bites REVIEW - Found at my local Kroger - brickeats

I was at Kroger and found these White Castle Cheeseburger Castle Bites in the frozen food section. I have never seen them so I had to get them and try them. Oh, and I got Jalapeño flavor too!!!

As a Texan, I’ve never had the opportunity to try White Castle. Those look good though, may have to try them!

The closest one to Texas is in St Louis. I have road tripped to eat there and I will again this fall. It's been too long since I have eaten there. haha

Growing up in the 50s our local newspaper at times had coupons for five White Castle burgers for twenty-five cents. Loved them !

I’m shocked. I thought that these were going to suck. I approve of these home kitchen videos periodically. I recommend a home kitchen review of the Simple Truth tater tots (deep fried in oil like God intended) from Kroger if you ever find them in stock. I’m sure that you have plenty of ideas to dress them up, but they are restaurant quality all on their own, as I’ve mentioned. Surprising video!!! 🍻

Man, the last 3 times I have been to kroger they haven't had the simple truth tots. It's like there is a frozen potato shortage in Frisco. I have them on my list... someday I will get to try them! And thanks, I like doing these kitchen videos every so often, and I finally finished painting my cabinets so its clean and put back together again, haha

@@BrickEatsWhen you get them, don’t overcook them. They cook fast. There are no deep fry instructions on the bag because the manufacturers these days don’t want to end up like Phillip Morris and all of the other cigarette companies who got sued because of other people’s bad decisions. Start off with about three minutes in 350F oil and don’t overcrowd your fryer.

Yeah, I do buy the frozen white castle burgers but this was the first time I have seen these. I need to road trip to STL soon and get a fresh White Castle!!!!

I've had the regular ones they are ok I think I would much rather have pizza rolls over these but I've also never seen the jalapeño ones of these

Yeah, pizza rolls are the bomb. I would mix these in though as they are different and I can dip them in ketchup. Lol

@@BrickEats we had a family fish fry once i bought the 120 count pizza roll pack fried them all in the turkey fryer literally the first thing gone pizza tots deep fried are the best
