I love peonies and I love chocolate - more so than fondant or gum paste. So, today I'm bringing my favorite things together to make this gorgeous white modeling chocolate peony, perfect as a wedding cupcake topper.

Ich liebe Pfingstrosen und ich bevorzuge Schokolade über Fondant und Blütenpaste. Deswegen gibt es heute eine Pfingstrose hergestellt aus weißer Schokolade. In diesem Video zeige ich euch auch wie ihr Modellierschokolade ganz einfach selber herstellen könnt. Diese Cupcakes sind ideal als topper für Hochzeits Cupcakes.

@@Keykde You are so welcome! I've been a cake decorator for over 40 years and, while I have used fondant, I hate it. So, I never use it. I love working with marzipan and have done some beautiful work with it. I love how easy it is to work with, including how well it takes colors and is so easy to shape, and how well it holds up. But not everyone likes the taste of it as much as I do. But now I'm thinking I want to use modeling chocolate instead of marzipan for many of my decorations, because the other videos I've seen on it just didn't 'grab' me as yours did.

I absolutely agree with you. I'm also often saddened that people don't eat the fondant on the cake - so it just creates unnecessary waste, in my opinion. I personally also do not enjoy the taste of Marzipan either. White modeling chocolate though - that's irresistible!
