0:14 i think when i was in high school, a lot of guys from my generation (say age 28-35 now) probably thought this is how happy he'd be at this age. Loving life and having a good time like their parents often did in their 20's, having a career that was fulfilling. Little did they know most slave careers these days weren't going to give them that realm of happiness. Instead, even with the consistent income, these slave jobs with insane slave taxes give people crazy "facebook eyes" and identity disorders where they pretend they're having fun bringing their kids to breweries on the weekends, with next to nothing to celebrate. I can't even look at most people and not see how fucking insane and soulless they are. This guy though... just normal, happy, healthy. How refreshing. And increasingly rare. Babyboomers had it made in a lot of ways, not needing to go to college to survive, but they just collectively aren't as scientifically perceptual as people today, and were even more likely to blindly fall into other people's religions -- taxes, US dollar, education, formal employment. Who could blame them, it worked better. We(people 28-35) got privy to some better sciences without being smothered by computer technology like kids today, but still faced the results of decades of pure American neglect and political/corporate entitlement. The lack of jobs, poor housing, high-expectation-for-children-society. People born in the 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond are largely the pioneers of modern inequality. They made it insanely tough. Vast modern inequality couldn't exist without their adherent behavior to corporations and corporate government interests. Long gone are the days where a poor person could rise to the top through entrepeneurship or hard work. So it's nice to see some one take a modern education to 'make a living' without selling their soul to debt, gov and corporations the moment they leave high school. That's the big problem here, that's just what everyone is doing. Remember this guys smile in comparison. There's probably more in their music, but the song Fine Slime resonates some of this sort of consideration/message to me. There's just a lot of denial going on in American culture, despite the mass amounts of money spent on education and special education programs to deny its lack of effectiveness. You just have a lot of people wanting more for themselves. Today, there a lot of hopes and dreams, a lot of broken people, defeated people, compromised people -- and a whole lot of people trying to make money to get to a certain point where they can finally give themselves the excuse to do what they actually want for themselves; pick up a guitar, start that business, move that place they want to... For most, it never happens. Just remember if doing something you want to do is what makes the smile -- if it's what you actually want for yourself, then how long do you want to wait to start being happy -- how long do you want to wait to be doing what you want? Don't be too afraid of yourself because you're so convinced by other people, now. Let yourself be inspired, give yourself the time to follow your heart. Thanks for the smile White Denim!

Holy christ, dude.. Can't you just say that you love White Denim, & that James Petralli is the man and leave it at that? No need to write a novel here, we get it. Music is life and music = happiness.. At least for me. 🤷🏻‍♂️ ✌️
