I never liked South Africa before cause I thought they have a very western view of themselves and think they are better than the rest of Africa... Till I went to South Africa and mingled with the people and I found them very in touch with their roots. I have a huge amount of respect for SA now and have a bunch of really good friends there. One of my favourite places on the continent. Travelling is very important.

I really don't like the way American radio personalities always talk about racism in SA as if it is as ripe as it is in the USA. First it was Trevor Noah, Kwesta , Casper now it's Sjava.

Oh and Ebro correction, Shaka Zulu did not defend the whole of South Africa, he defended the Zulu nation. Other tribes had their own Kings/Chiefs and formed their own battles. Like my people Basotho had Moshoeshoe leading the battle against Afrikaners/Boers in the fight for land. Basically white folk back then came through and occupied land through killing the natives. that's facts.
@pozakunlocked62556 жыл бұрын
Lebo Motaung these are facts bro. I’m a bit disappointed in Sjavlin also for saying Basotho are ashamed of their traditional wear cause that’s not true. We don’t wear traditional attire everyday but we are definitely not ashamed of it.
@heithmenningr6 жыл бұрын
Basotho are Bantu group of peoples. That means that you're colonist too, and that your ancestors came to SA, just as the Boers did. Whites and Bantus are both colonists or conquerors. The only people who have rightful claim to SA are Khoisan people. Please, go back where you came from. Whites to Europe, Bantus to Congo/Cameroon. Thanks in advance.

Andisiwe Ralane True bro, the AKA interview with Sway, I almost shed a tear at his ignorance of the N word and black consciousness. His interview was akin to the lil Wayne "I only care about my bitches" interview. Sjava wants to be in a Shaka movie but doesn't know the 7 part miniseries released years back worldwide? Come on, we need to stop living in a box as Africans
@t_challathagod1726 жыл бұрын
Andisiwe Ralane yeah I saw people excuse him too saying it's his personal experience and that our forefathers intended we live in this racial utopia when they died for us. I don't understand why one will think his or her personal experience is pervasive over other peoples experience, in a country like S. A and a continent like ours. And these people are public figures and representing the continent on an international platform. Embarrasing. Them old EU and UN controlled puppet politicians of ours embarrass us and even our peers are doing the same 😑

@LB_die_Kaapie6 жыл бұрын
Mduduzi Maseko you realise that that means that you can't get a loan from banks basically because you won't have collateral. You want the country to fail don't you?!
@mduduzimaseko15056 жыл бұрын
That's my point exactly, black people don't own banks. If land is handed back to black South Africans instead of government, there's a risk they might lose that land if they fail to make repayments to the banks. Who owns the banks in South Africa?
@LB_die_Kaapie6 жыл бұрын
Mduduzi Maseko So what?! That's true for every person who takes a loan out whether vlack white coloured or Indian. If you can't afford land or a house then you shouldn't demand these things. Just like if you can't afford to raise a child you shouldn't have a child. Both issues of the black majority..
@mduduzimaseko15056 жыл бұрын
Then why fight for the land if we gonna have to give it back because we can't pay back the banks?
@LB_die_Kaapie6 жыл бұрын
Mduduzi Maseko exactly. Don't fight for the land it offers nothing but promises. Fight for education and jobs and service delivery. If you don't get it like you haven't been from the ANC then vote for another party who will provide what you want. No one is making you vote for a party that does nothing for the people!
