Holy crap that looks good. That would really dress up the inside of my C30 crewcab. Great job !😎

I put LED bulbs in my cluster for my 86 K2500. There's one little quirk about them being that whenever I open the doors the power back feeds the cluster and makes the LEDs for my high beam and turn signal indicators light up slightly. Thinking of changing those 3 back to regular bulbs and just seeing how it goes.

I did that about a year ago. It really make it better looking for sure!!

Should probably replace my bulbs and bulb holders on the cluster for my 86 while I have it out of the truck to replace the PCB.

Looks pretty good! 👍 So to get at the bulbs do you just have to remove the screws for the silver trim panel, then remove the clear plastic that covers the gauges? What about the heater control, did you put LED’s in there as well?
@ebkbode5 жыл бұрын
CrashFix yeah the outer gauge panel just has screws, and there’s a connecting panel under the steering column. Yes the temp gauge light was changed as well. Hope that helps 👍🏻

@@ebkbode i have a 85 c10 i was told i have to pull clusters out to access bulb but you said i can get them from the front? Will needle nose do the trick ?? Thanks
@ebkbode4 жыл бұрын
Shawn Dunbar Yeah. I have a set of thin needle nose pliers. Duckbill pliers would probably work too.

cool, ever replace the Headlights I have a old 1980 van 3500 motor home and I think they are just a standard LED on Amazon but just looking for more information. H6054LL(2PCS)
@ebkbode4 жыл бұрын
Benjamin Stewart No, the headlights are sealed. There are LED headlights, but I believe they require a new compatible harness/connector spliced into the headlight wires.

How'd you get the aftermarket gauges in place of the old ones?
@ebkbode2 жыл бұрын
They were previously installed, so I’m not exactly sure. I’m guessing they wire up and then get inserted?

jon towers it definitely blows cold air, but I sometimes wish I had the stock A/C. Vintage Air takes up the glovebox space. I had to customize a narrow glovebox, but at least there’s room for documents. 👍🏻
