@@sayusaymee7722 Laoshu can have basic conversations with 80-90% of the world which is extremely impressive(he "knows" more languages than most polyglots) , but Xiaomanyc and Becca are much more fluent in Chinese(Laoshu's main second language), and Spanish(for Becca) than he is so they can have deep conversations in those languages because they've lived there or visited while he has not. They're all skilled and extremely intelligent people just in different ways. I wish I had the capacity to know even 20% of what they know about languages.

Oh, I love the way she said "Queremos dos cafecitos", because it's the way we speak in Canary Islands. Very good spanish, I almost couldn't hear an accent, even the "R" were very well pronounced. If you want to order a coffee without milk, you can say "café solo". Well impressed.

Chinese grammar is similar to english while Spanish is different so I don't think this is true. This is what I've learned from watching Laoshu505000 (he has said the same thing multiple times) and trying to learn Spanish as a native English speaker. Spanish is much easier to write than Chinese but not easier to learn to speak for a native English speaker.

@noorsulaimani yes, but most Spanish speakers in the USA come from Mexico and Central America, and most of those immigrants aren’t white, they are mixed/mestizos or indigenous. Anyway, there are still plenty of white Spanish speakers.

The only time I ever shocked someone was when my collegue and I were talking Dutch, got intterupted by a Spanish friend in English passing me her order in German to the German bartender while in the middle of that getting interrupted by two french girls, in french asking me if I was Flemish or Waloon seeing the country ID on my badge said Belgium which I replied to in French before adding to my order in German. I'd love to learn a language like Mandarin but it seems intimidating.

I watched me first video from Xiaomanyc like two months ago, SUBBED right away, and it keeps getting more and more interesting. Xiaoma: one of very few white guys that speak fluent Chinese(Mandarin, etc). Also Xiaoma: every white person he knows speaks fluent Chinese lol
