It's always expensive when you use those top brand fittings. They have just used the top European company fittings which makes it expensive. You can cut down your cost by using Indian fittings which are of good quality and durable.Rest of the material used to build the kitchen is same. And the kitchen industry has upgraded to the use of glass instead of PU finish which makes it more attractive. I've had a modular kitchen built for me in glass finish using similar hardware(European) for 2.3lac and have been using it for the last 3 years with no maintenance cost as of now.

I dont think I agreed with you, it goes with choices. I dont like maid cook food, infact our maid eats the food cook by my wife.. We are currently building modular kitchen that also goes with my wife's choice, as she likes it to be best looking and comfortable and accessible. With all respect, i think the perception matter.
