White House Press Secretary blasts USAID’s ‘insane’ spending on DEI projects

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has blasted the United States Agency for International Development for having “insane priorities”.
USAID was formed in the early 1960s to administer humanitarian aid programmes on behalf of the United States government around the world.
The United States spent around $US68 billion on international aid in 2023, according to government data.
Ms Leavitt publicly took aim at the agency’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion projects.
Some of the projects listed included $1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplace, $70,000 for a production of a DEI Musical in Ireland, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia and $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.

The "AID" in USAID doesn't stand for assistance. It stands for "Agency for International Development." According to Mike Benz it is a shadowy qusi-NGO funded almost entirely by the Intelligence Agencies like the CIA, the U.S. State Dept and the Dept of Defense for the purpose of using taxpayer dollars to interfere and influence foreign governments into supporting U.S. corporate interests and the "International Rules Base Order." It does the things the CIA, State and DoD cannot be caught doing directly. It's like the UN International Organization for Migration which ran the convoys of illegals though Central and South America using U.S. taxpayer dollars.
