White Java Sparrow and Friends - Sunday, January 09, 2022

There are quite a number of java sparrows, I don't know what we will do with these birds. Initially, in 2019 we kept 5 white java sparrows for the purpose of breeding. Because at that time there were rumors that this bird was rare and protected by law in our city, so we felt the need to breed this type of java sparrow so that this species remained sustainable. Over time, the number of breeders also increases, and on average they can produce many more java sparrows. And many kinds of birds have been seen in the facebook groups that I follow. This is good news for us and for the community. I'm glad to know that. Although I also just found out, that the news about the scarcity of the bird is also fake news made by certain people who can profit from it.
And as there are more and more of these birds, we might as well move these birds into bigger cages for a while. Meanwhile, we filmed these white java sparrows and friends while they were eating. This time we gave them dry egg food and also small caterpillars for extra protein.
