It’s the dried resin of agar wood that’s fragrant and expensive by the kilo. It requires drilling small holes in the trunk para tumulo ang dagta at matuyo. Harvesting they requires chopping down the tree. Maraming youtube videos tungkol sa agar wood. Very good to learn that the Philippines has a native agar species.

My husband had started tree planting 2 years ago and still on going with his projects in the farm and it seems it's never ending. He already have 1,200 narra and mahogany trees and it's well taken cared of. We both enjoyed listening and watching this very informative segment and I admire people like Dr. Em. True lack of information makes the public unfamiliar of our own growing timber and fruit bearing trees. Doc ako 15 yes na ako dito sa Uk pero wala pa rin akong ipon isa akong aircraft mechanic pero ang hirap ipunin ang pera dito kaya doc sa pag uwi ko mag farming nalang ako at dadaan ako dyan sa iyo para bimini ng mga seedlings mo. thanks Doc god bless you.

I think the Philippines have no problem when it comes to timber propagation because the whole Philippines used to be a virgin forest. If they can make desert in Israel green it’s no brainer that we can make the whole of Philippines even greener. It is just a proof that our country is a very bless country, the Philippines just don’t realize it.

Kilangan mo magtanim at ipa-rehistro mo sa DENR, kilangan ng title ng lupa sa pagpa rehistro ng mga tanim mo na kahoy para kapag nag putol ka ng tanim mo na kahoy ay walang paroblema, kung kukuha ka lang sa bundok ng kahoy na ibibinta mo that means ninakaw mo iyon sa philippine government kaya huhulihin ka.
