I became aware of this song after I was removed from a cruise ship and put in a COVID quarantine hotel in Palermo, Sicily for 15 days in December/January of '21/'22. There were no English channels on the TV, but there was one channel that played music videos, so I just kept it on all day to have some music in the background. This song came on often, which was great. Discovering White Lies was one of the bright spots in my days in COVID jail. The lyrics were weirdly relatable to my situation, and it's one of my favorite songs that is forever tied to a moment in my life.

@@Labyrinthine_Complexities I sincerely hope. America really is not great at "importing" other artists nor their music (even radio now that radio is just copycat trash). Canada gets British music before America does but America gets the most AND the best tour dates/locations always, so I kind of hate that as a Canadian. Lots of White Lies fans across the country here but they really have never done much beyond the top 4 biggest venues, and they focus on the east coast too. New songs like this should be shared and posted as much as possible to get buzz. This song is so fucking good and I know for a fact it means that album is going to be even better.
