You got it. Been awhile since i played this, but i think pattern for verse is a-e-c#m-d then a-e-f#m-d ending with a-e-a ....that new chord in chorus is g power chord

Hey bud, dont listen to these assholes ... you did really good, so be proud of yourself for that ! In the beginning of the song you could hear that SOMETHING was outta tune. But the Clash were a Punk band, and being spot on in the chords or solos, or the singing or even the tuning was pretty far down on the list of priorities. So maybe it was them that were outta tune ??? Honestly, throughout the song , I didn't hear your guitar outta tune with itself, and I've been playing guitar in bands for twenty years. Keep up the good work, and go find yourself a drummer & bassist to write your own tunes ! I tell ya man ... theres no other feeling like it in the world !!!

Tune your guitar. That would help immensely. Get rid of that phase/reverb effect, or whatever it is. It's horrible. Play the right chord inversions and it might sound right. Oh, and the right chords in the gap bits. A-E/A-D.
