My mother was recently diagnosed with this. I'm not a doctor so i have trouble understanding what little resources exist on this. Is this something i should be concerned about? Like, is this disease fast acting? Is she gonna suffer? Is it hereditary?

The progression and treatment will vary depending on what specific kind of white matter disease has been diagnosed. He has gone over quite a few different kinds here. Best to speak with her Dr directly for clarification.

I have a mild of this. long I have had I don't know? Found out in August 2022. White matter. I need to see a neurologist and October otherwise keep your blood pressure down and cholesterol. Slow's it down iam. 71+
