When these toots are fully ripe they get a pinkish colour, and they are very sweet. He is absolutely right about the yalghaar, meaning attack. It's eaten by taking a handful and putting in mouth.

In my childhood, our neighbors house. They had huge white Mulberry tree. It use to have 4 to 5 inch long absolutely sweet Mulberries in Monsoon season. I can still remember the taste, distinct fragrance of these Mulberries. After that I never seen that kind of Mulberry tree or fruit again. Only if I knew on that time how easy it is to grow almost everything with cutting, air layering, seeds and grafting. 😟

Dear those long mulberries are still present. I have a big tree which bears white and red long mulberries at a time. Red part has finished its fruiting of this season whereas the other part is still full of greenish/yellowish sweet juicy fruits. My house is in Gilgit City.

We has two trees in our home its age were more than 40 years.fruit starts to begin from 16th February of every year.. Fruit was distributed amongst families and friends and even amongst area people every years. Very sweet fruit, having two colour black and white 😍

Shahtoot aor Toot main kya farq hai? Panjab main do trah k toot paye jate hain, Rang aor Shakal k hisaab se, Safed, Siyah aor Gol, Lambe. Siyah Zaiqe main zra Khatte hain. Toot e Siyah
