Tbh I agree. I feel that Ingrid in the book and Ingrid in thr movie have very little in common. Movie Ingrid was too kind, smiling and touching her kid, whereas book Ingrid never looked at Astrid nor asked her questions

I’ve seen most of her films over the years-only a few holes left to fill, such as “1000 Acres” (to name one that is hard to find). As an aside, I can readily see why men (moi) would be smitten by Michelle’s intoxicating allure . . . but, those of the feminine sex as well?! [Well, why not? Beauty is *beauty* . . . a gift to behold by all] 🤩
