You can paint up and pretty up a plate boat as much as you like but they still are a tinny and pound like a tinny

@markuswilmes3694 With ya there bud. Pound like a drum they will 🤣 😂 8mtr+ vessel, dry, coming in well under 3.5t, inc the trailer!!.. 6mm hull just doesn't cut it on a vessel that size they need to be 8mm hull min.

Not sure why you would limit the beam to 2.5 towing width if your keeping the boat on the water?

@@TroySurmon yeah I’ve only ever had boats that lived on the water, but suppose having a trailer boat with somewhere to leave it in the water gives you the best of both worlds.

Haha what ever - I’m in nz this year nailed marlin mahi-mahi yellow fin, southern blue fin, large bass, XL kingfish, large snapper trevally , lots of crayfish and I don’t go further than a hour from my boat ramp (bar the southern blue fin). Never come home without a lot of fish often have to stop early due to limits. Fishing Mecca . I’ve lived in Queensland and it’s patchy with a lot of small fish. And the beer options are poor 🤣

@@lifeliver9000 lf l didn't have a 6m boat inAuckland, I would absolutely believe what yousaid.95% of fishing in Auckland are snapper,which is not what a fishermen want. lt's boring tocatch the same fish every time. you can checkout "Fishing & Adventure TV" and "The LateralLine", prove me wrong. if you talking about deepwater fishing, i can tell you there is heaps moredifferent fish species in QLD. When the water gotrough, there tons of Estuaries and canals you cango fishing and enjoy the beautify calm water. in NZ you can only stay home
