Nice find. I’ve had trees where the leaves have gone black like that and survived. So hopefully they have enough roots and and pull through the winter

Fingers crossed.

poplars and willows are common because they are easy to grow from cuttings.
@SidsTrees3 жыл бұрын
That's very true. They can also make nice bonsai which helps. 🙂. Stay safe

Wouldn’t they have a much better chance of survival if collected in early spring?
@SidsTrees5 жыл бұрын
Not when they were going to be strimmed to the ground!🙂 As the video showed if id waited just a couple of days they would have been gone.
@mattbrennan6475 жыл бұрын
I meant generally speaking isn’t spring preferable?
@SidsTrees5 жыл бұрын
@@mattbrennan647 Anytime when dormant is normal, though just before Spring is best. I think (hope) that by treating them like cuttings they will put out a bit more root before going to sleep before winter.

Now if Cooper was REALLY well trained he'd hold the camera and allow you to get both hands on the job!

My Arnie (Rimmer) is so well trained I'd hold the camera while he carefully dug the plants - in my dreams.
