I know. And I've noticed this year it seems they are trying to slow fade us into getting rid of Christmas. Less radio stations play the music, less events and even the Christmas selection in the stores is next to nill. It's no longer merry Christmas but happy holidays. And just in my personal life, my family is dying off. My grandma was the mother of christmas in the family. My grandpa hates it and the other side of the family leaves for Arizona 11am on Christmas day. I'm having a hard time even remembering what the magic felt like when I was younger.

I finally finding Christmas … it’s been all too hectic this year .. worked overtime all through Christmas … way too busy .. now it’s past 1 am … I passed out early in the evening but awoke from a deep sleep … took out my moms recipe for pasta cake .. the one I wrote down from her directions she gave me over the phone one day long ago … I am baking and sipping Drambuie at 1 am in the morning .. and when I put this cake in the oven .. I will sit by the tree and remember all Christmas past and look toward to the future. My mom’s body has long been gone but now she lives with me in the kitchen. Be in peace everyone … take time to slow down and know things. Nothing ever really dies or is born this is the gift from Jesus. Merry Christmas … it came late for me this year but better then never. 😯 Oh wow look how beautiful all this is and so magical too. This reminds me of living back in Easton Pennsylvania as a young kid throughout the 1980s. Great memories and great times back then too. Like all the snowball battles, sled riding, making a snowman, snow angels, snow tunnels, shoveling people sidewalks and most importantly having a couple days off from school. Oh yeah I can't forget about being all wet from the snow and coming inside and drinking some hot cocoa with marshmallows and some Christmas cookies while you're watching Christmas movies or Christmas cartoons. Those were the days back then, I wish today was like that still but it's not. Look how time went past us so quickly from the 1980s to 2022 and from young little kids up to adults now. Time really does need to slow down. I enjoy and love seeing stuff like this on KZbin, can you please do one for Easter if it's possible. Thank you very much 😁

Where was home? Home was Florida and then NC for me. Not many snowy Christmas Eves in either place, but still some beautiful memories. My father worked in radio (later, I did, as well). My parents always turned on the Easy Listening station on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It payed music solar to these. That was the background to many beautiful Christmases. So many loved ones are now gone, but we still create beautiful memories. @karen wagner

This video and music are remarkable. It’s my new go to for peace. The pandemic doesn’t allow me to go to public places for now. So this will have to do. This reminds me of our favorite place WA Frost in St Paul MN. We used to sit for hours to eat and drink to enjoy the ambience within those walls. In winter it was so beautiful to watch the snow fall while gazing out the beautiful large old restored windows. At Christmas they would decorate Victorian Christmas trees placing them throughout the restaurant and bar area. It is a magical much loved place I’ll hold in my heart forever. How I miss it.
